I worked at Lucky Leo's for about 4 years, in the arcade. Steve is the best boss I ever had, fare and treated every one with respect!!! The whole family was really awesome, and I know Tommy has a unique sense of humor and I can see how it would offend some people but he really is a good guy!!!! I do wish everyone well there!!!!! God Bless!!

I worked at lucky leo's during summer 98 and 99. The people there are absolutely great, didn't get a chance to know Steve, but worked for Tom and I simply do not believe what Ivaylo Z. says in his comment. Working there was great and after 10 years I stil have many fond memories about it. Tom was NEVER rude or racist towards us (and I'm non-american, in fact I'm egyptian, muslim and arab speaking, if he would call a bulgarian "ni**er" he would have called me worse, and it NEVER happened), in fact the whole staff were like a family to me and they were very friendly. When I asked for more hours to work, Tom always tried his best to accomodate me. As far as the games are concerned, I never worked in the arcade, only in the stands. I can confidently say that the games are clean. In fact there was one instance when I noticed that one of the spin to win wheels was stopping almost in the same place every time, upon informing them they immediately stopped the game, checked it and fixed it (the wheel balance was a little off). All in all, Lucky Leo's was a great place to work and play. Keep up the good work guys!

Stay away from the Giga cranes. They have intelligrab system. The crane has a strong hold and retaining hold for only a small percentage compared to money in. Go buy a cheap MP4 or stuffed animal..

Personally I think Lucky Leo's is a great place. I am not sure about how long they have been on the boardwalk, but as a Hungarian, I remember, that when I needed extra ours to work, I got it from Steven. I believe, that with a good business mentality what the owners have, that arcade can stand for an other 50 years. Keep up the good work!

These guys have been on the boardwalk for years. I worked at a Lucky Leo's stand in high school, and I love going back. The majority of their games do require a little bit of effort on your part, instead of just plunking down money on a number.
The arcade is always clean, and I like that you can accumulate your points.

First of all this summer I worked at the Lucky Leo's stands. My opinion has nothing to do with the arcade, because the owner of the arcade was not my boss and after all turned out to be a nice guy, but..... First of all I flew all the way from Bulgaria to work for that asshole Tom Whalen and all i received in return was being called "fuckin' bulgarian", "nigger" and all that. They didn't give me enough working hours at all, after that they told me they're giving me a raise and promised me that i'd get a dollar on top of every hour i've worked. NOTHING!!! The attitude there is just terrible. If you're a non-american DON'T GO THERE!! I really mean that.

PROS: girls on the boardwalk
CONS: Tom Whalen, Antonio, Scott the Fag

We have a great time at Lucky Leo's. They have been open over 50 years. The place is clean, the games are mostly games of skill. The pay-outs are good, and if you don't cash in, then you can use your extra points at another time. They have decent prizes to win. There aren't a lot of broken machines like most of the other arcades.
