It's sad to see that I'm not the only one that was burned by JBJ's lack of foresight and professionalism. Thankfully the driver was really nice otherwise they would have posted a straight up goose egg for this review. I e-mailed Vince 2 weeks prior to my date to confirm that the timeline I laid out was still good to go and that the vehicle we would get would be the one we signed up for 8 months ago. I received no response. So I e-mail again the week before the wedding. Vince finally responds and tells me that I need to speak to Brian (the owner) about my reservation. I get a call from Brian on the Monday before my wedding to inform me that their white limo broke down so they decided to take the black one (the one we signed up for) and paint it white and it was getting painted that day. He said they were getting a lot of calls asking for a white limo so it was the business decision he made. Who cares about the fact that he could have just checked to see that someone signed up for it to be BLACK that very next weekend? But it's ok he told me that "You'll have a brand new limo though." Brand new huh? Sweet, how about getting what I paid for? So I told him I'd have to speak to my fiancee about this unexpected change. I spoke to her and we both agreed that we wanted black and chose it specifically. So being as we were only a week out from the wedding it's not like we can burn up the phone lines and get a new limo in 5 days. Everyone would be booked solid. I decided to call Brian back and gently hint at the fact that he should at the very least offer some money back.

And here is how the conversation went:

Me: Hey Brian I just had a chance to speak to my fiancee and she is really disappointed that the limo is no longer black. Is there anything you can do for us? (hint hint, this is where business-savvy people make right their wrongs)

Brian: Well I can call the other couple who has the two toned silver and black limo and see if they want to switch with you.

Me: No thanks we don't like that limo and we chose the all black one because we liked it. (My internal thoughts at that time: That two toned limo is ugly as sin and now you want to inconvenience another couple as well? Yeah that's really good work right there.)

Brian: Well I can waive the cancellation fee if you want to cancel.

Me: Well we don't want to cancel the service, I mean we are 5 days out here.

Brian: I can guarantee you you won't find another limo this side of the Mississippi like the Charger. It's a custom made limo and no one else has it. (My internal thoughts: Oh ok well that's cool. I'm not asking you to be boastful about your limo nor do I care.)

Me: So is the price still $495? (last ditch effort to see if Brian has a functioning brain cell and will offer to dock the price even just a little. I wasn't asking to have it for $5 for the day but $25 off, $50 off, something off! Anything!!!!)

Brian: I'm in my car right now and don't have my contracts but if that's what it says then that is still the price.

Me: Alright well we look forward to the services.

So Brian at JBJ not only has no business sense but he lacks common sense as well. Like I said, thankfully the driver was prompt. And the white paint job was so great that it was on the tires. So yeah, brand new! I mean you were getting people calling for a white limo and you couldn't wait 5 more days to have it painted? Did he have this white limo booked solid from Monday-Friday and then again on Sunday in late September-early October? I didn't know proms were in September. Really sound business move.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The lack of professionalism is unbelievable and really quite depressing. I hope Brian can attend some evening business courses at Camden County College in the near future.

My son went to his Sophomore prom last year & the had a group of friends that wanted to go together. This place had a limousine coach that held 26 people. They whole group got to go together & they had a great time. They already ordered it for their Junior prom for this year.
