Hello,

My Dog was diagnonsed with a Torn ACL by Dr H. rizkalla. After obtaining a second opinion from a secialist( RBH) i realized that Dr H Rizkalla assed the situation correctly and very proffesionally. I scheduled a surgury and followed the protocol.
The staff and the Dr were great, very understanding and extremly proffesional.
The dog is recovering well, he can step on his paw, no aparent issues. The experience and service were superb.

RBH is an extremly expensive, and fency, and you will pay accordingly. the bottom line is the DOCTOR!

I do reccomend Highly this Vet office and will continue to use his judgment and knowhow in the future.

Thanks for a great service.

I love this guy and his staff. A few years ago my dog had a stroke from a spay procedure done somewhere else, and after going through hell at Red Bank Animal Hospital ($$$$ and they put the fear of God in you), I visited Dr. Rizkalla for his expert opinion. Right away he knew what was wrong, gave my dog steroid medication and she got better within a few weeks. She was completely paralyzed on her right side, and within a month or two she was walking and running again. Nowadays she's about 98% back to normal and I thank Dr. Rizkalla for that.

Don't look to him for "how to train your dog" - thats not his job.

I have been going to Dr. Rizkalla for years and he has been the primary vet for all 3 of my boxers. He is always loving and caring with them. He has accomodated me on many occasions when trying to get one of my dogs in last minute. I also have 2 cats one of which was quite sick for a while and after taking her to 2 specialists who did nothing for her I took her to Dr Rizkalla who ran many other tests and in turn he didn't come out with any better solutions for her but because he couldn't find a problem with her he didn't feel comfortable charging me the full cost of office visits and worked with me on the costs for the tests. While his assistants have run more towards just working the reception desk (which is fine) they really don't help out with the animals which allows you as the major care taker to go in the room with your pet and provide them the comfort they need while the doctor has to run his tests and perform his job. Overall, every experience I have had with Dr. Rizkalla has been pleasant and beneficial for my pets, he also has a fantastic sense of humor!

Pros: location, doctor disposition & "bed-side" manner

Cons: he is quite busy and it's sometimes hard to get an emergency appt

.

In a nutshell, i went there for just a health checkup for my new puppy and when i refused some services they tried to push on me, the secretary became rude. the vets assistant was off to the side looking in patients charts talking about which clients she hated. The vet himself was not forthcoming at all with any helpful info. when i told him of my difficulties in training my puppy. I wouldn't recommend such a place.
