Stay away from this place! Some of their veterinarians have no clue as to how to treat animals, in particular Dr. Mandeep Mini. They are all too happy to take your money, and will keep it even if they mess up.

I brought my cat in the middle of the night with an emergency; she was bleeding from her nose and mouth. Dr. Mini told me she was poisoned and needed treatment for that. I left my cat with them and she was treated the next day and night, and I was told to pick her up the next morning. I was charged almost $3000. My cat, however, still had major problems. She was not eating, coughing, and making a snoring noise. Over the weekend she got worse and worse. On Monday I took her to my local vet, who told me she did not seem poisoned at all, but had all the signs of a nasopharyngeal polyp. Upon further examination, he referred her to a specialist. I took my cat to the specialist (at AERA) who operated on her ear. She recovered and is happy and healthy now. I sent Alliance a letter and asked them for my money back, since they misdiagnosed my cat, and charged me almost $3000 for treatment she didn t need. They had her for over 24 hours, yet failed to notice the obvious symptoms that my regular vet recognized within 5 minutes. They did talk to me the first few times I contacted them, but refused to refund anything. Eventually, they no longer responded to my calls. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and they ended up with an F rating.

If you want really good emergency care for your animal, go to Animal Emergency and Referral Associates (AERA) in Fairfield; they are EXCELLENT.

The people at Alliance Emergency Veterinary Clinic are among the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. I have been there several times (things seem to always happen on holidays and weekends!) and have always been treated extremely well. Most recently my little dog was bitten pretty severely by a much larger dog. I wasn??t sure how bad it was and decided to take him over to have him checked out. It was a good thing I did as there were wounds below the surface I couldn??t see. They waited on us immediately, kept us informed the entire time, called us when he was out of surgery and even called a day or two later to see how he was doing! In response to the women who didn??t like the signs about payment being due, all doctors?? office have those signs and these wonderful people have as much right to expect payment as anyone else.

My wonderul 10 year old Golden collapsed and could not walk. I went to Alliance and the staff came with a stretcher to the car on a rainy Friday night and took him into the clinic. They were concerned and compassionate. While I waited for news of his condition,It did not take the doctor long for the doctor to return and deliver the unexpected news, she was direct but honest and allowed me to reach the conclusion, there was no other way for him to survive. with the decision to end his life,I was told he would be brought back to me and I could spend the last few minutes with him, as I held him and told him how much joy he brought to me and how much I loved him. What a wondeful suggestion at such a stressful time in a pet owners life. The staff was amazing, skilled and thoughtful.

Our sweet 18 mo old, 26 lb terrier mix, Sadie, ingested some of the RX I take to control muscle spasms I have due to MS....a muscle paralytic, I guess. Within minutes, all the muscles in her body went limp ...she dropped to the ground, her breathing became labored, saliva was building up in her mouth. We called Alliance who suggested I call Poison Control to give specifics about the drug, while my boyfriend drove her to the Randolph clinic.
Upon arrival, they had been told by Poison Control that she'd taken a lethal dose. But they placed my limp little doggie on a blanketed table, where the loving staff intubated her to help keep her throat open, inserted an IV to keep her hydrated and to keep her heart regulated, kept her tongue from slipping down her throat and choking her, wiped the vomit out of her breathing cone and her mouth ..... AND NEVER LEFT HER SIDE FOR 24 HOURS! When some of the drugs wore off and she became conscious, the staff were elated, as they didn't think she'd make it!
The staff not only impressed us with their expertise and professionalism in keeping our doggie alive, all the while hoping against the odds that she would recover, I feel that they provide these services with the utmost love and compassion for the animals as well as their human partners.
Sadie walked out of the office after 48 hrs and is home now with only aspirational pneumonia for which she's taking meds. She will have no residual problems from the lethal overdose.
Expensive? Yes ...over $3,000. I'm grateful I could charge any amt. to save my best friend.

They were so kind when we had to put our pet rat down. They took the time to understand. they also sent a card to send their condolences and to make sure that they did all that they could do for us.

About a month ago, my beloved cat fell ill. I panicked, not knowing what to do, or where to go, and somehow, I found myself at AEVC.
this Clinic provides amazing customer service, and it is obvious that every employee is absolutely passionate about his/her job. I do admit, I asked alot of questions, and the staff impressed me by being able to answer every single one thoroughly, with no hesitation. The one one person who just blew me away though, was Dr. Holland. She was understanding and friendly, and she treated me like an old friend. She had a great sense of humor and lightened the amount of stress I was feeling at the time. I could tell she was very skilled , and she was glad to help. What really amazed me about her though, was that she didn't butter anything up, but she got her point across without coming across too hard. The pricing was a bit expensive, but I think it was worth it for the amazing service I received. When I found out that my cat would have to be put asleep, The staff was incredibly sympathetic, and I even received a follow up sympathy card after the event. looking at the previous reviews, I saw an especially low one, from a a lady named Kirstin. Though her animal was put to sleep too, I think she was completely off-track with her review. She must have just been sour because her animal had to be euthanized, too. Though she took out her anger on a review, she must be still upset. The service was excellent, the pricing was great, and the staff was incredible, especially Dr. Holland. Keep up the good work, everyone.

It is comforting to know that Alliance Emergency Veterinary Clinic is a few miles away and is there 24 hours per day. The care they offer is good but way overpriced.

That's not the worst part of it. After all, they are an emergency care facility. But the one thing I saw while there was the phrase, "How will you be taking care of this?" - payment wise, before the pets in critical need of care were even looked at.

PROS: Good Location, Always Open
CONS: Expensive, They Are Very Much Focused On Money

I'm taken my dog to this facility on two separate occasions and both times I received immediate and professional attention. The staff is friendly and they follow-up when they say they will. Its located right on Rt. 10 in a small strip mall. You can park just steps away from the building.

PROS: friendly, caring, competent
CONS: appearance of facility is a little dirty
