This is a hands on museum for kids. There are hours worth of things to so. They have pretend pirate, grocery store, astronaut, news anchor, and much more. They incorporate science into most things and the kids love it. The prices are reasonable.

My friends and I take our childen here at least once a month in the winter time. It's a great hands on place for kids, very easy to get too, right off of Route 18 and there's tons of parking.
Inside there are various sections for the kids to play with, to really let them have fun and yet teach them things also. There's a news station, an astronaut section, a great kitchen diner section, plus the adorable farmer's market. My son loves to "shop" and then go cook dinner in the kitchen.
In the back there are lots of fun water games to play with, and they even provide smocks for the kids. I love the dinosaur theme room and the pirate ship is a big hit with all the kids. We always stop to do some arts & crafts too.
Highly recommend! Love this place!

We just recently had my son's 2nd birthday party here. We looked at places like Check E Cheese and Fun Tine, but we found that there wasn't much for a 2 year old at these places. So, we picked The Discovery House. We ended up having 12 children (with their parents) plus my 2 children. The children had so much fun that it was hard to gather them up for pizza/cake. The staff was also very friendly.
There's so much for children to do here including a news studio with real working cameras for them to play with.
I have to say that my only complaint was I wish they did pizza/cake as soon as the party started then let the kids play as long as they wanted. It was so hard to gather the children up and pull them away from playing to eat.
For the number of children and adults we had (they all had pizza and cake) I have to say this was very moderately priced. I feel like I really got a great value for what we got for the price.
Overall, I would definitely bring my children back here to play. We even got a ticket for a free admission for my son on a future visit.
PROS: Great place for children!!
