Got the seafood Alfredo. Sauce tasted like it was from the can and minuscule seafood was definitely frozen. The decor was old and dingy. It's only good for the pizza but not good enough to bring me back. And then on top of it they

4 Stars bc pizza is excellent but building is kind of dumpy. I suggest sitting outside on the patio area and only ordering the pizza.

The pizza is good but the salads and other food needs improvement - the service was so-so - the hostess seems annoyed or bored or maybe both - they may have good pizza but friendly service - even from the hostess is a must!

The best pizza in the area. Has been our families favorite for many years. Nice restaurant and atmosphere. I do think the pizza is a bit pricey for the size. A large pizza does not even feed two people in my house.

This Italian restaruant serves delicious, Inexpensive, thin sliced pizza with any toppings. It is like no other thin crust pizza you've ever had. Management is friendly and the place is great for hosting events.

Some people don't like Fed's because of their style of pizza, but not many people know that REAL authentic pizza in Italy is super thin crust and crunchy. This place hits it on the nose! Delicious thin crust pizza, and the other food is great as well. They have this hot apple crumb thing with vanilla ice cream for desert - it's totally worth breaking a diet for. Not too pricey

I have no complaints about this place, but I took off one star because of the size. It gets so crowded on the weekends and weekday nights. I used to walk there from my high school on weekday afternoons and it was really easy to get a table, but if I waited until night there was an hour wait. So get there early because it's so worth it!

If you're looking for a moderately priced thin crust pizza with lots of flavor, then Federici's is definitely the best place in the downtown area.

It's usually quite busy on the weekends especially during the summer time, but it has a great outdoor atmosphere right on main street of Freehold.

I'd highly recommend it during weekdays when it's not as crowded.

I really was not to impressed with Federicis. The food itself was not that bad. The main reason I went there was because everyone kept telling me that they had the best pizza. To me, it was too thin. I was disappointed.

The night I went there, the bathrooms where a mess. My uncle went to use the bathroom, slipped, and fell in a puddle of urine that was on the floor. We told someone who worked there. One of my family members went into the bathroom an hour later and the same puddle of urine was still on the floor.

They have great little personal pizzas, and have the most amazing house dressing I have ever tasted. I could drink it by the bottle :) The prices are great, and in the summer time you can enjoy your food outside in downtown freehold.

Feds has pretty decent thin crust pizza but way over priced. Your best bet is to go there on Friday nights after 9pm. The bar menu is half priced (includes pizza). Feds needs to update everything. No credit cards accepted? Are you kidding me? it's 2008! No beer on tap? Your best bet for excellent thin crust is just outside of Freehold at the Cabin. Ice cold beer on tap too.

This very busy Italian restaurant has great thin-crust pizza. They have a full southern Italian style menu, but we haven't had anything yet that stands out except the pizza. Their salads, sandwiches, and hot dishes are so-so, and the portions are small for the price. But if you like thin-crust pizza ... this is the place.

Pros: Great Pizza

This place has been around for as long as I can remember and they have the best pizza in town. It is a cute little restaurant located in the heart of Freehold. The service and the food is consistently good although sometimes there is a wait during peak hours.

My husband raved about this restaurant, telling me about how he'd go here as a kid and how fantastic their thin crust pizza is. I was more than a bit skeptical, being that I'm from Brooklyn, NY, home of the best pizza anywhere. Also, I had tried thin crust pizza before and thought it was just OK. Well, color me surprised...this was absolutely the BEST thin crust pizza I ever had! It was so delicious, and the crust was so tasty and crispy, much better than I expected. Even my picky children loved it. The service was good, too. The waitresses are friendly, and delivery of your food is fairly quick, whether it be dine-in or take-out. They offer other Italian food/dishes, as well, but I haven't tried anything other than the pizza yet. Everything I see looks good, but I just love the pizza so much, that I don't want to stray and try anything else.

PROS: delicious pizza, indoor or outdoor seating, friendly staff
CONS: can get very crowed!
