Look NO further if you need a quality job done. I own a vintage furniture company and have consulted with/hired several different refinishers in the Philadelphia and SJ area- and can confirm that Grandad's is the absolute best around. They are experts, complete professionals and incredibly friendly. Very fair in pricing, considering their top notch work, and are extremely passionate about their business. Whether it be an heirloom piece that needs complete restoration or a minor refinishing job, Grandad's is the only place I will use and recommend it to all of my family and friends!
I had my mother's old fruit wood table refinished here. Granddad's did a wonderful job of restoring it. It was in pretty bad shape after 45 years in the kitchen of a home with six kids. It is now beautifully restored.
This is where I had a chair repaired. The family has been doing repair and refinishing work for furniture for almost a century. They were reasonable, and they did a superb job.
They have done work for museums, so you know they must be good. They are also very, very nice!

The refinishing job was well done and the men who work there are very nice but having to put up with the arrogant, nasty wife made this 3 stars instead of 5.
I went to Grandad's to have the cane seat and cane back of a rocking chair fixed for a friend who thought it had to be thrown away, and Grandad's made the chair look brand new!!! Plus they have to be the two nicest people I have ever met!! And their dog is very sweet too. :-)\r

I still am in awe of how wonderful the chair looks especially since this chair was a friend's and she was ready to throw it away. As a surprise to her, I told her I would dispose of the chair when in fact the whole time I had planned on having it fixed and I definitely picked the right company to have it done. I just got the chair today and I can't wait to give her the chair and see her face! She is going to be so shocked on how wonderful it looks!!!\r
