This gym has gone downhill since new management took it over about three years ago. It used to be a small town gymnastic center that catered to your child's first gymnastics experience up to "team" level where the competition was more intense. Today it is run down, dirty and smells. My sister??s child started there a few months so I went to watch her in a class. I could not help but notice how worn out some of the equipment was. The exercise floor looked like it had never been cleaned as many people walked across it with shoes and then my niece was instructed to lay on it to do an exercise. GROSS and very unsanitary!! The other equipment was not much better as the beams were stained with ground in dirt probably mixed with sweat. The bars were shaky and looked unstable, and the vault was a joke with very little padding and a very unstable landing area. To make matters worse there were two big buckets strategically place to collect the rain water that was leaking into the building. Yes the actual equipment and establishment went downhill, but what really prompted me to write this comment was the way the coaches treated the kids. There were some younger girl teachers (college kids) who were the" motherly type" and handled their kids well. But what really stood out was a very heavy set guy (who I was later told was the owner) who just screamed the entire time I was there and his voice echoed throughout the building. I think it is pretty scary for those kids to hear this screaming and yelling as it definitely does not enhance their learning experience. The gymnasts he seemed to be coaching with another lady were all crying and frustrated. IT was a shame to watch these girls just break down and cry, only to be yelled at again. This is no way to treat a child and their parents should really consider the impact he is having on these girls. Negativity in this manner is unacceptable, especially for young impressionable girls. I am sorry but I feel strongly that this gym is mismanaged not to mention a hole in the wall.

This gym is disgustingly dirty as I would not let my dog take classes there let alone any one of my children. I took my daughter for a trial two months ago and was appalled as to the smell and the overall cleanliness of the gym. There
