Dave is by far the best mechanic I have ever dealt with. He does not advertise and yet finds himself quite busy! Anytime that I have had an issue, Dave ALWAYS makes time to check it out. The nice thing is - Dave is honest - if he feels there is no reason to worry, he tells you. He doesn't overcharge for work that he has done - and he won't do things that he feels are not needed. It is absolutely refreshing to have him as our mechanic. When something goes wrong with our vehicles, we do not have anxiety anymore - we know we are going to Dave and he will fix the problem & charge us reasonably. And to top it all off - Dave is just an all round nice man. We recommend him highly!
I was referred to Dave by several coworkers after relocating to SJ. When I met him I could tell he was a no BS kind of guy. He is very honest and will work with you to get your car fixed the best way possible. He is always slammed with business and thats a good thing as his reputation is very good in the area, bad as you sometimes have to get in line to get your car done but he does his best to accomadate all his customers.

Dave Carmen's is the most trustworthy mechanic I have ever used. He does not generate work by making up defects to fix. He'll tell you if a repair is needed now, or if it can wait. He'll even refer you to other mechanics who specialize in something he doesn't do.
