Being from the Pacific Northwest in Canada, I have had more than a fair share of experience with Asian cuisine, and have been disappointed with what I have tried in New Jersey. Asian Grill changed that.

Not only do they serve a variety of Chinese food, they mix it up with some Hibachi-type dishes. This is very important as my son is a very picky eater, but he loves Asian Grill cuisine.

Located in Ridgewood, NJ one has to assume that it will be expensive; however, this is not the case. I can puchase enough for the three of us for around $30. One of the things I appreciate is their policy of "No MSG" in their food.

Even though I say it's a restaurant, it really isn't in the typical sense. They are a few tables for your dining pleasure but most of the business is done through take-out.

I'm glad Asian Grill is around to satisfy my Chinese tastes.

PROS: Price is great, food is terrific, satisfies the hunger pains
CONS: Not really a sit-down restaurant; still doesn't serve real "chow mein"
