Instead of being called "Whole Foods" it should be called "Expired Foods." Over the past few months, I have come home to find that many of their dairy and fish products were past their "sell" date. This is inexcusable, expecially for the prices they charge. I also don't like the fact that they're inconsistant. Some times you'll find the brand of bread you like, other times you won't. Even if you order it, it won't be there. They seem to have poor communiction within their staff. I'm not a happy consumer.

The price of basics . . . in particular the "365" items are very reasonable, ie. olive oil, mineral water. And some prices are lower than other markets - Greek yogurt, half & half, organic milk. So I still shop there for specific items.

When the store first opened, shopping there was a pleasure. Now, it seems to me that the prepared foods/deli items are not displayed as well . . . no longer as neat or appealing. And though I occasionally find a helpful staff member, the overall staff does not represent the store and "Whole Foods" philosophy and mission as well as before.

I am a huge fan of Whole Foods. I have been shopping Whole foods for years. I recently moved and the closest whole foods was in Ridgewood New Jersey, and that wasn't close either. Twice I went there and bought meat and twice I went through the trouble of cooking and twice I had to throw the meal away because of BAD MEAT. The first time I brought the sausage back. the second time it was a whole roaster chicken. The store was to far to take it back!!!! I do not suggest anyone shop there.

Though known as a slightly expensive store, many staple items are less expensive than the local supermarket. Check out yogurt prices foe example. This store proved a healthy choice for snack foods as well. Free range chicken is very good and always available and the bulk cereals and grains are good for the environment.
I love the store though find it a little crowded at times. Overall, it gets 5 stars!

Whole Foods Market in Ridgwood, NJ has a great selection of naturally grown, organic foods. The layout of the store alone is wonderfully pleasing to the eye with displays artistically arranged all over the place.

Lots of organic foods, baked goods, meats, cheese and fish are always available to be bought. Other foods such as soup, salad and sushi is readily available as well for your eating pleasure, even if you want to take some time to eat over there. Don't forget about their catering service as it may come in handy one day for those parties that you might throw.

Parking is a bit tight but not impossible, unlike the other stores deep within Ridgewood itself. The prices are reasonable making food shopping pleasurable, especially knowing that you'll be eating a bit healthier as well, which cannot hurt in any way possible.

Whole Foods Market is a good alternative to living a better lifestyle.

PROS: Great food selections
CONS: none

It's no longer hard to find organic food. They have a great selection and keep it appealling. The staff is friendly and know what they're talking about.. It can get crowded but you will always be satisfied with what's in your bag.

As a less than stellar cook I need inspiration. I dislike food shopping so I have to go where its "fun". Whole Foods is "fun" interesting, inspirational and just a gorgeous place to shop.

They carry organic foods, wonderufl baked goods, outsanding deli, cheeses, the freshest meats and fish. Prepared foods are always available. They have a sucshi area. They also have an eating area wher eyou can peruse salads and other foods to go like soups, buy them and eat them there.

They used to have a wonderful body care area , this has been moved to a seprate store now.

I'm always delighted by the displays , as an artist they are done so beautifully, I can't help but just stare. So forme this becomes a wonderful hour of food fun that would in any other place be a chore.

PROS: Fresh, organic, great selection beautifully displayed
CONS: None

Whole foods in Ridgewood carries a great selection of natural and organic foods. It's a very pleasant place to shop, although it can get very crowded and the parking lot is a bit tight. They've got great coffee and ample seating to sit down and enjoy. Be sure to try their homemade salsa and their chocolate chip cookies!

Whole Foods offers a wide variety of organic, natural, and healthy foods. Most of their stores get a high KidScore for amenities like family restrooms...
