Its a shame the campground has so much potential but is highly over priced. When I booked they did not mention that $55 was just for 2 people, they waited until I got there with my 3 kids and then charged an additional $30 a night Off season at that! The staff is miserable. I wish i had read the reviews and checked their website before wasting so much money at a campground off season. We will not be returning.

I been going to this campground for 3 years and I love the campground and the people there and my 5 boys love going there and they have fun . I think having the golf carts is the best cause other campgrounds dont have them . all the people that say security dont do anything that is so not true i see them yell at alot of people . I think that if u want luxury and quiet u should go to a hotel or stay home . everycamp ground lets people drink and have fun so if u dont know how to have fun u should stay home. And the staff is really nice and friendly .Keep up the good work wading pines we love you!!

I have been going to this campground for a year now and all of my friends go as well. We all love it the people are extremely friendly and its the only campground I have ever been to where the weekenders are treated great by the staff and the seasonal people. I have made many amazing friends there . I think those that are complaining shouldnt be camping if you want absolute piece and quiet then stay home sit on your couch !!! You need to understand that your not the only person there . Its a great place I have been to many campgrounds and they offer way more than any other place and the prices are so that the entertainment and events can be there and they are not that high compared to other campgrounds . It is very clean compared to other places as well !!! good luck with finding nicer places in NJ to camp at that allow fires past 10:00 and dont come yelling at you at 10 to go to bed , if I wanted to be in bed by ten I would stay home. Which is where you complainers should stay . NOT one time has the staff been rude or the people that go there .My girlfriend has allot of kids and so do my other friends that go the kids love it there as well .

The facility had potential with clean big salt water pool and a nice river going through the campground. It was ruined because the campers are loud and drinking away all night. Mostly in the rented cabins and year long RVs. The establishment does nothing about it even with their "security". The show Jersey Shore had better ettiquette then the belching, yelling, vomiting, and swearing that was happening every night. Never will I even think about this campground again.

Wading Pines's catchphrase is "Do it in the Pines". They sell magnents, bumper stickers and other items in their general store with this catchphase. My suggestion. Don't do it at Wading Pines. My family has been seasonals at Wading Pines for several years and we've recently started looking for a new campground. I'm astonished at how un-kidfriendly the place has become. Just look on the Wading Pines website under seasonals & they state it themselves. They offer an adult lounge to socialize in a kid-free area. This "adult lounge" is not a bar, however, your more then welcome to byob, its a room with two tv's, a couple couches and a pool table and a very bad smell. On the rare occiasions that I entered the "adult lounge" you can't help but notice the overwhelming stench of bad food that hasn't been removed by staff and the occasional bug running across the floor. Very rarley are there activities for children anymore. Golfcarts are out of control. It's only a matter of time before the owner's are sued for someone being hit by a golfcart. Granted, each person who has a golfcart does carry their own insurance but believe me, once someone's child is hit all hell is going to break loose at this campgound. I can't believe the owner allows so many golfcarts in such a small space and allows people to drive them completely wasted. The whole golfcart situation is trainwreck waiting to happen. I can't allow my children to play in front of our site because of all the golfcarts. I honestly can't think of one good compliment about this campgound anymore. Years ago it was great. Every year the price goes up and overall everything about the campground goes down. They do offer weekend entertainment, usually in the form of a band. The whole activity schedule has become stale. It's the same bands over and over playing the same songs over and over. They do offer a couple of other activities but their maily for adults. Again, I can't stress enough how un-kidfriendly Wading Pines has become. It seems as if the owner is trying to rid the campground of anyone with children and turn it into an adult only campgound with everyone driving a golfcart intoxicated. The only left to say is, when a child does get hit, they better pray it isn't mine.

Staff is rude. Has attitude of pay up and shut up. Seasonal sites by the river across from the cabins (where we stayed)are the worst, loud and rude. Music and yelling til at least 3:00 am, but security didn't care. Drunks speeding around in golf carts all day and night. Are people there that bored that all they can do is drink and drive those stupid carts around? We even saw an employee flying around in a cart (the cart had a wading pines decal on the side) with a beer in his hand. Store is stocked and has good gameroom for the kids. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. They appear to go in and clean them, but if you go in right after cleaning there is no difference. For what this place charges a night could they make simple repairs like fixing the locks on the stall doors so the doors close properly. That is also a security concern. There are too many nice places to stay other than this expensive dump.

Wading Pines has been my familys vacation spot that we look foward to every summer. I have been camping there since I was a baby and enjoy going back every summer. The owners have changed quite a few times however it has stayed a wonderful place to bring your family and friends!

I have been camping at wading pine for about 24 yrs now, ever since I was a baby. They have switched owners once or twice but have remained a wonderful, family friendly campground.
