Quaint, old fashioned. Menu choices are limited, southern fare. Beautiful location and attentive service. There are often weddings here in this beautiful historice setting.

The Chalfonte is a fantastic hotel. I have often stayed in the Annex. It is a fantastic, child friendly area of the hotel. The hotel offers a children's dining room so parents can enjoy there dinner in the 'big' dining room. The large, spacious porches are fantastic for reading the news paper and enjoying the sea shore air. The rooms in the main section of the hotel are very comfortable. Many of them have bathrooms en suite, although some have bathrooms down the hall. The best part of this hotel is the child friendly areas.
