Reviews for Capture The Southwest

Ratings_icons Capture The Southwest is GREAT!

Kurt D.

My wife and I have purchased many items from Stephen at C.T.S.W. He has built us many beautiful custom pieces much better than the fiberboard junk all over the market. So to the tough person hiding behind their computer that goes by anonymous come out of hiding or shut up.

Ratings_icons Outstanding - truly a gem in a marketplace full of the usual

Joanna C.

My husband and I are lifelong customers of Capture the Southwest and I can absolutely support the fact that Stephen's handcrafted items and selection of inventory has "captured us" many times over. Customers looking for "more of the same" that you will find at every other major furniture retailer, don't bother looking here. Every piece is unique- and the quality is unmatched. This is an absolute gem in a marketplace so full of the lastest fad, and cheaply made material. I've recommended this store to many close friends and they've all become "captured" as well. If you're looking for the best of the best, you will be no less than pampered at Capture the Southwest.

I have lived in town for a while and drive by the store almost everyday.I always say I have to stop and check it out.But being so busy I never do, the other day on impulse I just pulled in. As soon as I opened the door you could feel the power of the showroom.I would recommend anyone who is looking for a handcrafted piece of beautiful furniture to stop on in.

Ratings_icons hand crafted Southwestern style

Tina B.

My husband and I went to Capture the Southwest 5 years ago and purchased many pieces after honeymooning in Arizona. We purchased the pieces since they were unique, hand crafted and quality. We went into the store yesterday since we wanted to expand our dining room hutch; however we could not find an exact match. We are now having two custom pieces made to match our set so our furniture can grow with our needs and we won't have to lose our initial investment. This is a wonderful store if you are looking for hand crafted Southwestern style.

Ratings_icons Unbelievable !

Dennis S.

I walked in the showroom of Capture the Southwest and found myself mesmerized w/ the endless selection of hand crafted furniture, collectibles, home accessories, pottery, fashion, art, and jewelry. The store is truly a one of a kind retail establishment. Owner, Stephen Procida, took ample time with me to help me create the perfect dining room set, and even offered to come and look at the room to see if there was a better solution for my space. During the next several weeks as the set was being created, Stephen kept me posted on the project. Now, this amazing set is the focal point of my home. There has not been a person who has come to my home that does not comment on the style, beauty and construction of this amazing dining room set. Since this time, I continue to shop at the store to fill my house with amazing items from this unbelievable store. Do yourself a favor and check this store out! You will not and cannot be disappointed.

Ratings_icons A Southwest Experience brought East

Vicki H.

Hi
I don't know who anonymous is, but you need to stick with the Dollar Store. We have visited Capture the Southwest numerous times. We have even had Steve make up pieces of furniture for our home. Our friends are amazed at the workmanship and detail on the furniture. We absolutely love every piece that he has made. Everything is always finished on time and the prices are affordable. He has great ideas, is very helpful, and never pressures the customer. He goes out of his way to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied. If you've been to the Southwest, only then can you appreciate what is in the Store. See for yourself. I promise you, this trash talk only comes from someone who doesn't know what a class act is. Ratings_icons Capture the Southwest.

My name is Stephen Procida and I am the owner of Capture the Southwest. I present my store to you with great pride. My inventory is comprised of hand crafted furniture and other hand-selected items, each of which are carefully priced for sale. During the 16 years that I have been in business there has never been an occasion where I have had to defend either my store, or in this case myself. I am surprised by the recent negative reviews, both of which posted by anonymous. Capture the Southwest is a labor of my love and passion, and it is disheartening that one with a personal vendetta could so freely slander. I would encourage any who read this to come to the store and let my showroom "capture" you.

Ratings_icons Overpriced and overwhelming

Anonymous

This showroom is FULL of overpriced furniture and junk. There is way too much inventory crammed into the store, I got so disgusted I had to leave. Not to mention some of the jewelry and artwork look like they have been there since the early 1980s.I even saw some of the same prints at the Berlin market.(much cheaper) Save yourself the aggravation and go to your local flea market instead!!!

Ratings_icons Worth the Trip !

gia l.

The showroom of this store is packed with so many unique and beautiful items that it is hard to take them all in. It is the ideal place to get a gift for that person you don't know what to get him/her. That was the reason that brought me to the store, but I could not resist several items for my home. I was in awe with the custom furniture pieces that owner Stephen Procida crafted. He recently introduced the San Dangelo collection and these pieces alone are worth the trip down rte 42 to check the store out. They are magnificent. You will not be disappointed !

Ratings_icons Wow !

I don't know what anonymous was talking about ! Capture the Southwest offers the most unique collection of jewelry, furniture, home accessories, and candles in the area. If you want something that will leave your friends, family members, and guests with their mouths open and wondering where you got it - this is the place for you. The owner, Stephen Procida, takes extreme pride in his store and his vast and impressive inventory reflects this. Please - do yourself a favor and stop by this one of a kind and unique store !
