At first, the company came with an extremely high estimate. After a few weeks I received a call stating the estimate was too high due to a mistake on their end. The fixed the situation and came back with a very reasonable offer. The quality of the work and product was fantastic. They finished putting my roof on in one day. They didn't leave or ask to be paid until all work was completed and my property was cleaned to my satisfaction. Great Job !!

Power Windows Completed a Superb Install on 22 Windows. Which I beleive is a huge task. Timely manner the install was smooth and stressless. Only two days back to back , 12 windows were done first and then the next day 10. I didn`t have to clean a thing after they left, not a cig nor a soda can!! Very Impressive. The Salesman Jerold Prather mentioned during the presentation a European Bevel window which, now I really love on my home because It stands out. Our family made a great choice in the purchase of the windows. If you are looking to have your windows done, I highly suggest Power Windows And Siding for the job.

Hey Power thanks for a Job well Done !!!

The Sales Pitch:
This is a very powerful, well rehearsed sales pitch. There are lot of great points made about the windows which Power will install and a quick check around the internet will confirm some of which is confirmable. All in all, here??s a summary of what we were sold.
?1-day installation ?? maybe a second day if necessary.
?Windows removed from the outside.
?Windows installed from the outside.
?The best windows money can possibly buy.
?Complete customer satisfaction.
?A double-lifetime warranty replacing the windows in just about any event.
?A guaranteed 30% reduction in heating & cooling cost.

The Project Manager Visit:
This was really a quick trip. He was talking as he very deliberatly walked through measuring each window and labeling them. He told us that anything that happens to the sills of framing during the installation would be up to us to repair.
What he said was, if for some reason, a piece of a sill get??s chipped out or damaged, or paint gets scraped away, etc., the installation crew is not responsible and we would have to take care of those things.

He told us that it was a 1-day job, but if there was anything left unfinished, the crew would come back on the second day to finalize. The reassuring part here is, that the crew would finish the second day if it was necessary and that there would be no gap. The crew would remain on our job until it was finished.
In and out, the PM was there about an hour. This is your Q&A time, so prepare if you have questions.

The Installation:
The crew was pleasant, but they seemed to not like the oversell from their salesmen. They didn't show up with a recognizable and reassuring Power Windows work uniform or logo bearing jackets& shirts which would really be an easy thing for Power to outfit their employees with. At about 1 hour per window to remove, replace, clean, caulk and flash, this is really quite remarkable speed.

The salesman said the windows would be removed through the outside, which is great. This was a big selling point for my wife and they did stick to this. The windows were taken down the ladders on the exterior and this kept the interior mess to a minimum. The windows were removed from the outside as sold and this did keep the interior mess to a minimum.

They also sell you on the fact that the windows are installed from the outside, another enormous selling point for my wife. The crew asked me here, since it was raining on installation day, if I minded if they brought them inside. They unpacked the windows on the porch and brought them to the locations that they were needed for. This was only for the second floor windows. I won??t gig this part here, it was raining, the crew did ask and I??m not heartless.
All in all, it??s about how you would expect windows to be installed by any reasonable thought process, it??s also pretty close to how the job is sold.

What to expect: after a window is removed, the trim has to come out. The crew did go around after and make a really-decent effort with a shop-vac to clean up. There was only minimal cleanup after they left.

The rain picked up and the guys finished installing all 15 windows in 1 day, but they would definitely be back on day 2 to do the flashing.
Day-Two:A lot of care is taken to make every piece fit right. We have an older home and they have to cut extra pieces around our shaped lintels. I start comparing their work to our neighbor??s replacement window installation. There are some obvious differences, but some of the important ones I??ll list here.

Power
-All nailing is done in the corners and the inner bends, no nail heads showing, smooth surface.
-The flashing and the windows are the same exact shade.
-Form fitted breaks in the flashing to fit to the home.
-The guy doing the caulking took a lot of care with a rag to clean up any excess.
-No visible gaps, they made a great seal.

The other guys
-Nails in the face of the flashing, the nail heads are plainly visible and the surface looks dented.
-The flashing and the windows are two shades of white, it??s a subtle mismatch.
-Very boxy flashing, looks like the skipped a lot of work here.
-Lazy caulk work, the caulk that got onto the face of the flashing wasn??t wiped off and has turned dark gray.
-Visible gaps between the flashing and the brickwork.

By noon they were more than 1/2 done, 9 of 15 and they finished around 3 on the second day. I??m glad that they took the time to do it right. The windows look great and my wife doesn??t have to call me to open a window for her any more.

I??d have to whole-heartedly recommend Power Windows & Siding for replacement window installation. The quality of the work is outstanding.

Thank you Power Windows & Siding for a job very well done!

We used these guys. They have pushy sales people who make exagerated claims about the product, time of sales visit alleged discount, and decietful presentation. I know buyer be ware, but these are over-priced windows; they are good windows I can not knock them for that. Installation was unimpressive and they broke a few insulation tiles that they just wanted to use calk to fix. Luckily we did only two windows with this outfit. Personally I would recommend for a good experience the Windows Factory.
