I went in today with my 84-year old father to get my beloved departed Mom's 35-40 year old diamond pendant appraised and detached. Mr.More appraised it for $5,000 (must be much more). then when i asked him to separate it from its links into 3 parts so that it could be divided amongst us 3 sisters as our Mothers Day gift, i should have suspected foul play when he took it inside to separate it. No jeweler has ever taken any jewelry out of my sight before. He came back with the pendant in 3 parts so i asked him where the 2 gold links were that he cut off. He became very defensive and said there were no links. Did he think I was that stupid to walk into a jeweler without taking magnified pictures of such a precious pendant?! I asked him again for the 2 22-carat gold links and he told me to leave his store and never come back! He stole from us in more than one way- this was my Dearest Late Mom's memory for us to cherish this Mother's Day and forever, which he stole from us and my old Dad. We left the store and sat in the car contemplating whether to call the cops or expose him to as many people as possible. We decided on the latter. HE IS AN OLD THIEF.
thou a nice family owned buisness, they advertise they will buy gold and diamonds..went in with an old engagement ring appraisal of 2300.00, wasn't expecting to get anything close to that, just to move on and get rid of it.. pretty much a smack to the face when offered $100 for it.. honestly, talk about rip off...i will probably get more at cash for gold for the platnium
I just came back from a visit to More's Jewelry. I had expectations that my requests could be handled, no surprises there. However, what did surprise me was how well the associate took care of me. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. I only know she is the niece of the owners.
My requests and questions were numerous and she spent at least a half hour helping me. Her service was exceptional and she went above and beyond all expectations.
Thank you for 35 years of caring service. We were newly engaged when you opened your business. We chose our wedding rings through your catalogs. Eventually your showcases of jewelry appeared and after many successful years, you moved your store to it's current location. Thank you for many great gifts!
My grandmother was diagnosed with Cancer so we decided to host a benefit for her, well after going vendor to vendor to get donations for an auction, Mores is the only one that really stepped up and lent a helping hand in the community. They donated a beautiful gold ring that brought tears to my eyes. They will be blessed forever!! Thank you soo much More's.
Mores Jewelry is this amazing small town jewelry store with a great selection. The same people have been working there for years and they are extremely knowledgeable. I have there for large jewelry purchases as well as to simply get my watch battery changed. They also always clean my jewelry for free.
I bought a engagement ring that they made for me on what i wanted. they had an example of one but i wanted a change and their was no problem, he made the ring even without a deposit, the kind of place that you like to do business with, good service and been in business for 35 years.
Pros: friendly local store
