We were looking for a place to get a seafront dining experience while waiting for a flight out of Newark. This is only about a half hour away in a scenic area along the shore.
Food was quite good with the scallops being exceptional. Very good menu selection of fish and a wide variety of other dishes, including some nice combos.
Service was friendly if a bit leisurely. Entrees were mostly in the $15 to $25 range with a few higher and lower (on the dinner menu which also applies all day Sunday).

The outside of the Ye Cottage Inn is charming, set right on the waterfront with seagulls roosting on the dock just like a postcard. The interior is even better, rustic like the inside of a ship. And the food is out of this world. The broiled fish is tasty and moist. Sides lend themselves well. The fried entrees are my favorite. They really know how to make seafood.
Excellent service, reasonably priced. fantastic food.
