Blackbeards Cave

I have been going to Blackbeard's since I was a kid and it is still so much fun as an adult. They have so many activities, miniature golf, batting cages, driving range, arcade games and go-karts. They are right next to a family friendly restaurant so it truly is a destination for the whole family. We recently went to play miniature golf (there is a buy one get one free in the Entertainment book). The course was really difficult and my husband and I had a really good time. I even got a hole in one on the last hole of mini golf and won a free game, T-shirt and keyring.

A great family place. Kiddie rides and miniature golf for the kids and a driving range and paintball for the adults. Buy ticket books to choose what rides you want. There is an on site restaurant and a train ride and lots of other stuff to do. Not too far from the Parkway. It is a little ways away from the beaches and other shore points so it is not overwhelmingly crowded. You will be able to try everything without much of a wait.

Not bad for kids, has a good assortment of rides and games. Definately could use a renovation and update. Blackbears has batting cages, a driving range, go karts, and arcade games.

Blackbeard's Cave is an entertainment center in Bayville, NJ. My family and I stopped in one day when we went down to the Jersey Shore for a little vacation.

The main attractions are the mini golf and go-karts. The mini golf course is not bad, sometimes pretty challenging, but it was nice and relaxing. The prices are very good and if you look closely, you can get some very good deals for a round of goal.

The go-karts are quite pretending to be on the Grand Prix circuit racing against other people. Lots of tunnels and bridges to make this course interesting.

Other activities include archery, bumper boats, batting cages, driving ranges, a ganster alley, jousting and other fun things to do.

Also on the lot is CB's Huntington's Family Restaurant to relax and eat after a hard day's work of fun activity. And for those who can't stay away from video games will be thrilled at the arcade that's attached to the restaurant.

Blackbeard's Cave isn't what I expected as it looked more run down. The mini golf and go-kart seemed to be the only two activites that looked more up-to-date but the rest needs a quick upgrade. Blackbeard's Cave does serve its purpose of entertaining but it really is geared towards a younger age bracket under 13 years old.
