I recently had to replace a faulty tire in my work truck so I took my truck to STS in Hackensack, they did not have the tire I needed so it would have to be "ordered" and they would have it for me on the following day. The spare tire went down from the tire hitch mount in the bottom rear of my truck, and the hitch cable was rolled back in without any tension whatsoever.
Next day I went back to get my tire and when they tried to get the spare back in its original place, they could not unroll the hitch; it was all twisted and tangled in the housing. It was late afternoon so they told me to come back with the truck so they would order a new hitch but I would definitely have to pay for the new part, supposedly it was never used before and this was the cause for the cable to be entangled.
I never took my truck back to their place, I just could not trust them anymore, went to my trustworthy mechanic and he told me that they were not supposed to roll in the cable without any pressure on the end of the cable, since that was what caused the cable to become tangled and not the fact that was not used before. Now I know better not to ever take my truck to them, since evidently they don??t know what they are doing and as a customer I feel I was ripped off since I had to replace a perfectly working part that they ruined because of their poor knowledge, and on top they would not accept responsibility, instead they pinned it on the customer bill. That??s not the way to conduct business.

Got completely ripped off by more than $200. When I tried to settle the bill, Youry the store manager threatened to not let me have my car back. Do not believe the below and DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GETTING RIPPED OFF by paying for services not requested. It was extortion..

The bottom front end of my car was hanging onto the road. I think a foreign object impacted the car. I was concerned that the cost for repair would be high. STS repaired the problem and basically charged 10 bucks. I was only charged for labor. The repair took over 30 minutes and has held up.
In other dealings with STS I have never been overcharged.

I have tried so many repair shops - and was never satisfied. STS is honest, professional and good money. You can ask them for your repair options and they will tell you which repairs are a-must-do and those that can be postponed. Maurice is manning the front desk at STS Hackensack location and he is just the absolutely the best!
PROS: professional, honest, good money
CONS: none

STS is tops in competitive pricing. They are a full service tire facility. THey do lube, Oil and Filters, rthey'll rotate your tires, they do professional brake servicing and have over 250,000 tires in stock.
I guess this is why my husband always takes our cars there. They carry Michelin, Bridgestone, Firestone, Firelli, Goodyear, Continental and General Tire.
I got this piece of advice from"The Car Doctor" Ron Ananian on the radio. buy your tires from company like this not the big box stores. There are different grades of tires in each brand and only tires stores carry the better grade.
PROS: Huge selection Good service
CONS: None
