Surf Taco is delicious. But they almost always leave at least one item out or get something wrong when you order to go. They also have hardly any parking, and they close way too early (even children eat past 9pm!), and they are CLOSING (ie, don't bother going, and the salsa bar will be dismantled) before they're even really closed. But there's little to no competition for this style of food (Bubbakoo's Burritos is the tasty and comparable alternative if you want another option), so my family remains loyal customers. I recommend the garlic shrimp taco, maverick burrito with steak (wet, like the other commenter said), the enchiladas, and taco salad. You need an extra order of the incredibly delicious chips, especially with the homemade salsas, which are possibly the best thing Surf Taco offers. The max dip is okay but a little weird, the chili is not worth it (better at Wendy's! We've actually picked some up from Wendy's to go with some ST food), the smoothies are more like juice, and the rice has gotten lackluster (tastes cheap, is sometimes burned, and no longer lime-cilantro-y like it used to be). In spite of its shortcomings, for the area I have to give ST five stars, though in comparison to places anywhere it'd be four stars. That's still saying a lot, since many local places couldn't even compete on that scale.

Surf Taco is my favorite place to eat when I am home from school. I have tried almost everything on the menu and absolutely love it. With their wide selection of Baja style food, they have something for everyone. This restaurant has a great atmosphere and is also located just a few blocks from the point pleasant boardwalk. They have affordable prices and quality food. I take all of my friends from out of the area there and they all have become just as addicted as me. Definitely a great place to eat.

Surf Taco is one of many hometown favorites. They offer Baja food that ranges from mild to spicy. Their prices are just right and the quality is great. There is always enough in a serving to fill you up. It can get very busy, so try to go in at off-peak times.

Surf taco is amazing! The prices are reasonable and there is so much to choose from on the menu. They have quesadillas, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and sandwiches and things. Everything is really good and you really can??t go wrong with anything on their menu. They do catering too. They have this amazing homemade salsa that is so good as well. It??s got a parking lot outside so you don??t have to worry about finding a spot. It might be crowded on beach days so make sure you get there for lunch!

I am not a fan of tacos, but the quesadillas were delicious. It was really crowded, but we went on a Saturday afternoon. They were very inexpensive and the people were very nice! :)
