STAY AWAY FROM EASTON ANIMAL CLINIC. THEY KILLED MY DOG HE WAS ONE YEAR OLD. THE DOCTOR OPERATED ON MY DOG WITHOUT A BIOPSY THEN CAME AND TOLD ME THAT MY DOG HAD CANCER AND HE LEFT HIM BLEEDING THE WHOLE NIGHT. THE NEXT MORNING HE TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO BUT TAKE HIM TO A HOSPITAL BY ASBURY PARK AND THE F### DOCTOR WAS LIKE YOUR DOG MAY NOT MAKE IT. THEIR STAFF ARE UNFRIENDLY BUNCH OF IGNORANT GIRLS ESPECIALLY THE SHORT B###h WITH EYE GLASSES.

We have always had professional service at Easton Animal Clinic and the staff has always been SO wonderful with both of my dogs!!!!! When my first dog got sick, they were so sympathetic and helped us through that terrible time and now my new dog Rosie is terrified of going to the vet but the staff do what they can to make her comfortable and it always works. They always talk to you and make you and your pet feel at home, I give the staff and Dr. Soriano 5 starts because they do provide world class service and I will never go anywhere else!!!

Love them. have been taking my 2 dogs for almost 2 years. Got through one horrible illness with there help and recommendations. Reasonable priced. Shannon is wonderful, you just have to know where she is coming from. She is no nonsense and her brisk attitude can be taken the wrong way, however she knows what is going on.

Dr. Soriano is nice and I think he's a pretty good doctor.
His staff is interesting and by interesting I mean they are so damn rude. Ok, I'm talking about one woman in particular who thinks shes on top of the world and doesn't remember she's just a secretary. The others are sweet as humble pie and don't want to disturb any peace. It's irritating. There is no balance amongst this staff and looking at the other reviews I find I'm not alone.

I had brought my dog to this clinic for about a year and a half since it was right around the corner. I never felt the doctors or the staff were particularly informative or accommodating. When trying to schedule an appointment, the staff acts like they are very busy and cannot see your animal for at least a week, yet whenever I went in, I was the only customer in there. The doctors know what they are doing, but the staff does not. I appreciate a professional and "just doing my job" attitude, but the head of staff is extremely rude and condescending. I think she believes that any animal that gets sick or injured is being mistreated or neglected by his or her owner, which is not the case, and she will act like you're an idiot for "letting" your animal get sick. If she feels that way, maybe she shouldn't be working at a vets office! I no longer go there because of said staff member and would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

All I am going to say is that Dr.Soriano is a gentleman but that lady Shannon who she says is the manager of that vet office is not nice at all specially when she is challenged. I couldn't believe it but I have proof it myself that she really screams to customers when she angry; I am pretty sure there are other current or past customers that have the same opinion as me, she even made me cry and made me feel bad enough to fear her of me getting hurt by her. I never ever screamed at her or said a bad word (I have proof of that). She clearly has no good customer skills and the other lady looks like she is learning from the master. I guess someone didn't get hugged enough. My story is long and sad to write about. All I want to say is that I recommend this office 100% as long as that person called Shannon is no longer there.

I've brought my dog and cat to this vet (Dr. Soriano specifically) over the past ten years. He does a fine job and walks a pretty good line between what he can do for the pet reasonably and what is going to have you shelling out a lot of money.
The staff seems competent and attentive and most importantly, professional.
The prices seem reasonable but I've never had any major procedures done there.
All in all I'd recommend them.

The service is awful.I can't say it for all of the nurses but the one woman is very rude. She doesn't know the first thing about customer service. She is very condescending, yells at her clients, This woman alone almost caused me to leave this vet but I decided to stick it out because that's where I started with my dog. BIG mistake. I got my dog spayed and am tremendously dissatisfied with the results. First off internal stitches that dissolve are the best way to go with dogs as they are inside, your dog can't scratch or lick them and no cone!!. Easton uses external stitches,...then gave my dog the wrong size cone and she was able to lick the stitches. The incision opened and i had to bring her back to the vet. The vet bandaged her and charged me for the bandaging and new cone!! They charged me for their mistake after I already payed an arm and a leg for the expensive surgery. But when they put the bandage on my dog, they just put medical tape over my dog's fur...no prewrap or anything then they couldn't get the bandage off when they needed to remove the stitches and basically waxed my dogs fur off and she was in a great deal of discomfort. Since the incision was bandaged it wasn't able to air out properly.
long story short the stitches were taken out this past saturday, on Sunday my dog was oozing blood. so they gave me another bandage (with no prewrap again!!! idiots...and my dog is oozing blood from a surgery that has been stitched and should be closed by now. You're going to give me a band aid?... thanks! great Dr.!) now it is verrrryyyy baddly infected and I have an immediate emergency appointment with another vet.
I will agree with the one review, Dr. Soriano is a pretty good vet but Dr. Celo is awful!. He is rude, rough with the pets and as you can see from my experience he's terrible. Seriously opt for another vet before taking your pets here.

The doctors are great and informative - I really like bringing my dogs to them, esp. for regular check-ups. However, one particular staff member really has me considering other vets. She's absolutely rude and disrespectful. The when my dogs are sick, the earliest appointment they are willing to give is about a week away .... it's really discouraging that they can't seem to fit sick dogs into their schedule, esp. when it looks very slow when I do go there. Maybe they just need to work on their organization skills.

The vet techs and vets go above and beyond to answer any concerns or questions. They show a genuine interest in my cats' health and wellness. When my first cat was fixed, they took such good care of him and spoke very highly of him, which was great to hear being a new "mom." When I got my second kitten, I discovered he had fleas, and called the clinic. Like all the other times I've called with concerns, they gave me thoughtful information and went out of their way to check and double check that their advice was accurate. I trust them and I highly recommend them to anyone. My only warning is that they are extremely busy. Make an appointment far in advance. **But in the case of an emergency, they'll definitely accomodate you**

I've been taking my dog to this clinic since we first got her about 6 months ago. From her first set of shots to getting her spayed, they have been wonderful with her! We have now dealt with both Dr. Soriano and Dr. Celo and have had great treatment! I do not believe the staff to be cold at all. In contrast, they have always been very friendly and when they call her name in the office, my dog goes nuts! I highly recommend this clinic to all in the Somerset area.

I like to bring my pets here because it has been the only place I have brought them to since they were born. I like to remain consistent if I can. They are very professional and I would agree with most that Dr. Soriano definitely knows what he is doing. The only problem is that they do overcharge... a lot. It cost me $680 to spay and de-claw two of my cats. To me that is a lot of money, however, I did try to check around and I don't think anywhere else is really any better.
As for the staff being kind of cold, I think it is just because they deal with sick pets every day. I don't take it as an uncaring nature, just simply a "doing my job" type of attitude. They are not really the ones for small chit chat, just getting your pet better and you home. Which can be nice if you don't really want to stand around in a vets office talking about the weather.
Overall, I recommend them as the best. Not because they are inexpensive or highly affordable, but because I think that you are going to get the best possible treatment for their prices around this area.

I love both Dr. Soriano and Dr. Selo. I bought a puppy from a pet store (bad mistake, but I fell in love with her on the spot and I couldn't help it)...she was, of course, sick. Easton Animal Clinic took wonderful care of her, and--since they had a relationship with the pet store--all of the initial care, five to six office visits, medications, and other expenses were provided at no charge and the doctors forwarded the bill to the pet store's owner. Soon after, I had my puppy spayed, and the doctors noticed two retained canine teeth while she was under anesthesia and removed those at no charge!

This vet is well-known in the area. They serve a wide variety of animals. I only brought my cat once, before moving, but it was a pleasant experience. Dr. Soriano was the doctor who saw my cat and he was very kind. They overcharged, I felt, but overall I was satisfied with the experience.

I used to bring my ferrets to this vet. The staff was kind of emotionless. They were not mean, but did not go out of their way to be nice. They overcharged, calling my ferrets exotic. They were however, the only local vet that had any experience with ferrets, so in the end it was worth dealing with the prices and staff for the knowledge of the vet.

Dr. Soriano was the Vet I used for a while and he was very good. He was kind and nice to the animals. I started getting stuck with the other Vet in the practice whenever I had an appointment. Dr. Celo was just not that good. He was often rude and harsh and my pet didn't like him. I changed because of him. I only recommend Dr. Soriano in that office.
