If you want a quick, satisfactory meal, Stewart's is a great place to go. The taste of teh food is consistent each time you visit, and kids always like the carhop service. The best root beer floats anywhere!

Stewart's Root Beer is an old fashioned drive up resteraunt where the servers come to you window, take your order, and bring it to you without you having to leave your car. It is a good place for families to go after something like a baseball game or some other kind of competition to celebrate. The food is decent and the prices are very affordable.

This is a fun place to take the kids to go and eat dinner. They offer hot dogs and hamburgers as well as drinks such as root beer, orange soda, cream soda and root beer floats. They bring the food right to your can and you eat off of the tray that is attached to your car or you can eat at the picnic tables that they have. The kids love to go here and the food is cheap. It is located right before the Tony Mathsis Bridge aka the Sea Side Bridge. Great place to grab a bite to eat on your way to the boardwalk.

I didn't think any drive in restaurants existed anymore until I went to Stewart's Root Bear at Tom's River, NJ, near the Jersey Shore. Not being too familiar with Stewart's Root Bear (I am from Canada), I was intrigued by what this place had to offer.

The old fashioned feel of a car-hop service was a novelty that was fun to witness again. Your order is brought to you and placed on your car window for your dining pleasure. The food is actually quite pleasant and tasty. For a family of three we barely spent $20 on the entire meal.

The service is fast and friendly. The funny thing is that only men work at this place. I don't think I saw a single waitress at Stewart's at all.

Famous for its root bear, we purchased two gallons of root bear to take home with us at a very good price. When that is all finished, just go back with your cannisters and order some more. They will give you $1 discount when you purchase another gallon.

I really had fun just eating at Stewart's Root Bear enjoying the whole novelty of a drive in. I just wonder what happens if it rains.

PROS: Good food and prices
CONS: none
