Fun Town Pier

The Funtown Pier Amusements is one anchor pier to the beloved Seaside Heights Boardwalk experience. This large pier has a variety of things to do with your familly, such as games of chance, a loop roller coaster, go karts, and a huge ferris wheel. Funtown Pier offers specials that are hard to beat--for example, currently rides are only a flat $14.95 fee from 12:00-7:00PM. Great! The kids and you can ride unlimited times!

There is a special also for kiddie rides--only $10.95. This section of the Seaside Heights boardwalk feels geared more to the smaller set. There are rides for the kids like a Jr. "Balloon Ride," a Scrambler, and a Funslide. The older crowd will be attracted to the Starship 2000 and the new Haunted Mansion that is a 10 minute walkthrough haunted house complete with live actors.

Fireworks take place during the summer each Wednesday at 9PM if you are interested.

This pier gets a lot of traffic throughout the summer. There is parking out on the street, in pay-to-park lots, and even in a metered lot (if you can find a space!). If you are planning a party, FunTown Pier can accomodate the birthday festivities as well inside a "Party Tent."

I always visit this pier during my stays at the Jersey Shore--the rides are clean and safe, and the crows a bit more family oriented than other boardwalk areas I visited.
