Been around forever. Going there since i was a teen and the days of albums. ( seems like so long ago). Nice selection and good brand name items. Good store.

Recently had my home renovated. Hired Sound City to come in and do all my computer, telephone, Cable lines.
They put in an amazing whole house music system that literally puts all my music at my fingertips... in any room of the home. I love their professionalism and there attention to detail. My system is expandable, soon I will be adding some lighting control and maybe HVAC control. I love this stuff and wouldn't trust anyone else but Sound City. Thanks to Grazio and the entire install team for all your hard work.

Sound City could be a great store.
Their management lacks personality and they always watch every person like a hawk and they NEVER SMILE. Their floor help is great and VERY helpful, but that is about all.
It would get a great rating if it were not for the owners/management.
Parking is easy to find in the rear.

I must say after coming across this review above I was forced to right something. I have been purchasing my electronics from Sound City for a long time now. Those guys are great over there. And while there prices may not compete with internet prices I feel comfortable knowing who I am buying my stuff from. There knowledge and service is far more superior than many others I have come across.
You have my vote Sound City.

If you need something in a hurry and you do not want to go out of town, then shop here. They have all the newest releases on cd and dvd, and the latest electronics. Some things are a bargain, especially their car audio, and the work on cars is extremely professional. Their management does leave a lot to be desired, and their customer service skills are non existent. They do not price match for their over priced electronics, and are not competitive in that area. The rest of the store is satisfactory.

PROS: New releases always on time
CONS: bad customer service
