.

Antipasto for two, extra mozzarella and salami, O+V mixed in, two large pies, one plain and one with Dad's choice of topping, an RC, a birch beer, and two waters with no lemon.

That's been my family's order at Papa's since the beginning of time -- or at least, as far back as I can remember. And the best part? Theresa, our regular Sunday waitress who's watched my brother and me grow up, recites it on the spot the moment we sit down -- down to the LAST DETAIL.

If that wasn't enough, this is easily, indisputably, the best pizza EVER. I love DeLorenzo's too for different reasons, but THIS is the pie I grew up with, the pie that has ruined all other pizza for me forever. The cheese is exactly what cheese should taste like; the sauce isn't too acidic nor too sweet, perfectly complementing the rest of the pie instead of overwhelming it; and the crust -- god, the crust!! Thin and crispy, it's the only pizza crust I ever bother eating!

Papa's staff (and copious signs posted on the walls and doors) will tell you, they're the oldest standing pizzeria in the entire USA. There's GOOD REASON for that! You haven't eaten REAL pizza until you've had Papa's old-school Trenton tomato pie.
