He's in it for the money only. Will prescribe up the bill as much as possible. Gives OD's a bad name. Do NOT use this OD.

I agree with JD...I felt that he was more of a salesman there to benefit his pockets, rather than his patient.

Having been under the care of an excellent eye doctor (Dr. Chhedi, Branchburg Eye) we were disappointed to find our new insurance did not include her in its network. We visited Dr. Daniels to update my daughter's contact lens prescription. While young, my daughter had been wearing contacts (Accuvue brand) for 2.5 years with no problems.

Our visit to Dr. Daniels was uncomfortable. I felt he was trying to "sell" us on new products (not covered by our insurance) and the situation was a pressure cooker. In spite of my lack of problems with ReNu, I purchased a "special" peroxide lens cleaner he insisted was much better than the ReNu product we currently were using. In addition he insisted my child??s vision would be much improved if we switched to a different brand of contact lenses. Again, I allowed my belief in his superior knowledge (being a doctor) to override my common sense (why switch? she was fine in what she had). Of course by switching to the new lenses, we incurred a "refit" fee for them, not covered by insurance.

Initially things seemed fine, but within about two months, my daughter began to complain that her eyes were bothering her. Being a mother, I naturally assumed it was her fault - she wasn't cleaning her hands thoroughly before removing her lenses etc. Sad to say, I blamed my child without even thinking twice that her problem might be from the lenses themselves.

We noticed in mid July while taking some pictures that her left eyelid was droopy. We took her to her pediatrician who, after doing some neurological tests to rule out a stroke, suggested we see an ophthalmologist. We returned to our former office, Branchburg Eye Physicians and were seen by Dr. Sohmer. She diagnosed "keratitis", aka corneal damage, due she said, to poorly fit contact lenses. The doctor stated in no uncertain terms that this was nothing our daughter did wrong, but was solely due to the lenses being fit improperly by Dr. Daniels. We are now three weeks post diagnosis and still waiting for her cornea to heal. I would like to advise anyone considering going to his practice to be very cautious.

My entire family gets their glasses/contacts from Lambertville Eye Associates -- the annual check-ups are extremely comprehensive, taking the time with each of us -- from age 6 to 66 to ensure we're getting the eye care we need.

I go here for my eye glasses and contacts. The owner/operator is very friendly and aims to please. The eye doctor is also friendly and personable. Service was quick and prices are competitive. Nice to have a place right in town that I can walk to. Recommended.
