When my cat became quite ill with something that could not be diagnosed by another vet Dr. Stryeski and her staff went above and beyond to determine what was wrong via lab work and my cats history. Dr. S asked the correct questions and gave me all the options prior to running any tests. She did not want me to incure debt that was not necessary, and really worked with me to help me understand all of my options. I have such a high opinion of her and her staff, and would recommend her to anyone.

After bringing all of my "family" pets there for years, I was very frustrated by a feral cat that I had taken in, nuetered, and nursed back from the brink of death due to hemobart. The cat had attacked me on more than one occasion, and as I did not want to put the cat down, after much research that suggested prozac might help, I was hoping my vet would prescribe the drug. This vet would not do so without running all kinds of blood work, which would have cost me more money(remember, I had already spend quite a bit on a cat that anyone else would have euthanized, and that was looking like the only alternative at this point--what did we have to loose by just trying the prozac??) By the way...from talking with other vets, I discovered that there is no law that dictates this bloodwork needs to be done in order to prescribe prozac. It is at the discretion of the vet. (I can tell you why I think they were insisting on bloodwork, but I won't.) Needless to say, I left there an unhappy customer . The good news is, I have since found a wonderful, wonderful vet!
