De Piero's Farm

DePiero's is owned by own of the old time farm families in Bergen County. They have long since abandoned the old farm stand in favor of a super market style store. They have tons of fresh produce, much of it home grown in t he summer, a wonderful bakery and a small gift shop. They are usually pretty busy at the height of the season.

De Piero's Farm is a great place to spend an afternoon. Go pumpkin picking in the fall and then come into the store to enjoy some donuts and cider. What a treat! Their bakery is very good, ranging from various breads to pies. Apple pies go quickly here so you might want to place your order before the holidays. Staff is warm and friendly. Parking is excellent

If you like to go to farmer's markets to get your produce, this is a great year-round shop. An actual farm, it also imports produce from other local farms and sells it at a good price. Everythign just looks and tastes fresher than the supermarket, plus you can get items like fresh baked pies and cookies. We love to stop in here and just wander aruond - everythign smells so good.

DiPieros offers a great tractor ride for $7 which includes a huge selection of large pumpkins, a ride through the big farm land, a hay maze for little kids and apple cider and donuts. A great deal and fun too. Lots of photo ops and the stuff in the store is good too. Right off the GS Parkway.

I absolutely love this place. They have everything I could possibly want in produce & feeding my family healthy food is very important to me. They have such better prices on produce than a food store & it is so much better quality! Can't say enough good about it!

De Pierro's Farm in Montvale, NJ is a fresh of breath air. It's sometimes hard to remember that parts of New Jersey has some luscious green area. They don't call it the Garden State for nothing.

This place is very spacious and sell a variety of freshly produced, organic-grown foods. Looking at the selection of fruits and vegetables is a testament to how fresh these foods really are. I marveled at the size of some of these fruits and was in awe at how reasonably priced they were as well.

There is also a greenhouse in the back complete with an assortment of flowers and plants of all kinds. The aroma of these flowers is just heavenly and I can see why people keep coming back to make purchases.

De Pierro's Farm is separated into areas to make shopping easier and more accessible. Aside from the fruits, & vegetables and flowers, there are pastries, fresh meats, bread, cheese and fish sections. One can expect to pay a bit more for the freshness ofthese items but when you take it home and cook it, it's worth every penny.

Upstairs houses an arts and crafts area with a variety of handmade goodies all for sale. The area is huge yet fels very disorganized. To me, there was no character to this section and it made me lose ineterst very quickly, expect for the electric train set that is on display.

The experience at De Pierro's Farm is very organic in nature leaving you with a sense of refreshed spirit and wonderment.

De Pieros is a wonderful place to shop. Aside from their vast selection of fresh fruits and vegetables they also have a full bakery department plus lots of other grocery items. The fruits and vegetables are so fresh and delicious and the prices are very reasonable. They have so many delicious items available in the bakery you won't have an easy time narrowing down your selections. The staff is just wonderful They couldn't be more helpful. The prices are very good so there's really not more you could hope for.

This is a fabulous business with a farmer's market appeal. Fresh produce, much of which is locally grown or organic, is on display and at excellent prices. The shop is very spacious and there is plenty of room to navigate through the aisles and check out the produce available. I found some delicious sun-dried tomatoes there that were reasonably priced.

I really liked the separate areas for baked goods, meats, and fish. You need to have cash on you as you pay right on the spot for these items rather than pay at the entrance as you do for the produce. My husband and I purchased some crab cakes that were reasonably priced and cooked them up that night--they tasted fresh and out of this world.

You can purchase a freshly-made sandwich, pastry, and coffee and sit on one of the convenient picnic tables (indoors) for a bite to eat. There is a fun train set on display that entrances the kids--when we visited, it was upstairs in the craft area. There are minimal crafts for sale and it is pretty much a waste of that space. The store should maximize that large space more fruitfully.

I love to cook and I love to visit farm markets for the freshest produce. De Pieros also offers imported foods, great fish and meat selections and a wonderful bakery where you can watch the baked goods being made.

I go there buy my produce, grab a great bread and get some of their fresh soups to eat before I head back to my shopping. They have inside and outside seating if you want coffee, lunch or a snack.

The view outside is spectacular.

A wonderful place for plants,flowers, food, fresh soups, unusual foods, all this can be found at DePieros. Additionally they have added a fresh fish department and a gorgous meat department. They have a soup bar, salad bar and a wonderful bakery. Its delightful to stop and do lunch when you'r shopping. You can eat outside and enjoy the beautiful view or eat inside when the weather isn't co operating. I have a Home Health Aide from Barbados who oohs and aaahs over the quality of the produce as well as the good prices. Their garden tools and gift shop are pricey with the gift department being a bit ordinary. Otherwise I find this a great place to shop.
