My friends and I are not serious bowlers. We are in our 30's and like to have a good time without sitting in a restaurant, growing our butts. Memory is our preferred destination, with kids in daytime, without kids at night.Prices are very good, $10 for 3 games for kids [with free shoe rental], same deal for adults is only $12. They also have timed 2hr packages and group prices. The food is typical snack bar, although they serve huge burgers and my kids love their chicken fingers. My husband is in love with their mini tacos.I like Memory because the staff is always helpful, the people at the snack bar will even bring the food to your lane if they are not swamped. The floor staff always have a smile and a friendly comment. It makes you feel that they are happy to see you.In the evenings there is a waitress on the floor and they have a very well stocked bar. Bar prices are good: mug of miller is only $2. My husband drinks fancy tequila [Patron] for $7.50. He says he usually pays $10 in other bars.We found Memory after my company had their party there about two years ago. It seems Memory has a huge reputation for parties. They have hosts who run the party, all kinds of activities to keep everything interesting, and they rolled out a fully catered restaurant quality buffet - we were blown away.My kids have their birthday parties at Memory. I've tried others and Memory is best by far.Music is playing just about all the time. Family type music in the day, more adult tunes after dark.I highly recommend Memory. Their web page is memorybowling.com

PROS: Most welcoming bowling alley
CONS: could use newer seating and computers

I have been a satisfied customer at Memory for the last two years. Memory has always been a best bet for fun.
My kids love to bowl in their kids club. The staff are the friendliest and most helpfull I have seen in any Bowling center. They went Non Smoking a year before the ban.
After about 9:30 pm, this is one of the best places for adults to have a good time. Their bar has everything from BUD to Grey Goose and at very good prices. Their kitchen puts out fantastic wings and other quick food. It has seen alot of renovation in the last year - looks really nice now. Their specialty is throwing fantastic parties. For kids, adults, company, whatever, these guys know their stuff.
I read a nasty review by AMY H and was very mad. This person obviously has a beef and wants to smear this place.
Her review is a complete lie. I don't know of a bowling alley that does not require bowling shoes to be worn. They have discounted rates for kids up to 17 and always point out the least expensive options. They dont event charge extra for their COSMIC Bowling.
Many of my friends have had personal and company parties at Memory, all rave about the service and quality.

PROS: Best FUN and Value
CONS: not as high teck as some more expensive places

This bowling alley has the best specials in the jersey shore area. It's not the most high tech bowling alley I've been to, but you really can't beat the price at $ 14 for 2 hours.

PROS: No long waiting list to get a lane, Best prices
CONS:

About 2 months ago a friend and I went to this bowling alley. Between us we have eight children, so where ever we go it would not be cheap and we understand this, but this place was over and above. There were only three other people i n the place when we walked in. THe man told us that if we wanted to bowl we were required to rent shoes. First strike in my book for as long as you are not damaging the floor it is not a requirement. We got two lanes to play in and we got started playing. Only two of the kids are old enough to play a game and the six little kids are just rolling the ball. After an hour or so we decoided that it was enough and went o leave. The man said it was going to be $85 for the amount of throws we had. No joking. Needless to say after we got up off the floor we worked it out to about 25 and promised that we would never be back..
