Duane explains the maintenance and repair issues and related costs so his customers can understand the work and make the best choices. Our 10 year old Subaru Outback is still going strong with 220,000 miles on it. We needed emissions work and an inspection to identify any potential problems. We are very satisfied with the emissions and steering repairs, and the engine tune up has our car purring like a kitten.

Duane takes pride in his work and is honest and interested in being sure his customers are satisfied and well informed. His shop is clean and his staff is friendly, knowledgeable and interested in providing good service. He provided transportation so I could get my car after it was repaired and he even had the car run through a car wash after repairs were completed. We could not be more pleased.

I have gone to Highland Park Automotive with all my vehicles for the past 15 years. Mr. Beers is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, responsible, and very fair. It is rare and wonderful to have a business in the community that you feel you can trust.

It is always hard to trust the recommendations (on required repairs & replacements) of Auto Service Shops including respective Manufacturer's Authorized Dealers. I went to this shop for the 1st time in October, 2010 after coming across 2 reviews when I did Google search on this shop. Mr. Duane (Owner) is a nice person and I felt confident that he recommends only what is required. He responds well to any questions/info you ask and I felt very comfortable in interacting with him. (Reason for my visit: My 2001 Toyota Corolla's Driver side Head Light Bulb was getting burnt frequently and needed bulb connector replacement). I also like his OIL CHANGE Service since it is not just oil & filter change but includes very essential things like "Top off all fluids, 27 point Safety check, Inspection of brakes-belts & hoses-steering/suspension and battery & charging system testing". Mere oil/filter change does not make any sense at all. I will definitely recommend my friends to go here if they are in need of auto service/repairs.

I have been going to HP Auto for 8 yrs. now and they keep track of all my maintenance and they tell me when I really need something and when something can wait. Duane and his staff are polite, courteous, is always helpful and answers any questions I have. I always feel like I got my monies worth.

Over the summer, the air condition in my car broke. I desperately needed it fix quickly. His price was almost less than half of the quote of my local body shops gave me. He was able to fix my air conditioning in a matter of days, which completely saved me when I was driving to work everyday. I would suggest this auto body shop to anyone who lives in the area as they are friendly, affordable, and efficient.
