My sister's wedding is in two weeks and all 7 of the bridesmaids dresses are still not in. Additionally, when I went to get sized and told them I was pregnant, one of the sales girls stated that because of my "situation" I would have to get dress two sizes up plus extra length. It's going to cost a fortune to have the dress tailored.
I would not recommend Nonchalance due to poor customer service and added stress for the bride.

GREAT dresses TERRIBLE service. Never had less professional or helpful. They weren't nice & they seemed really put out by having to actually bring dressed to a dressing room or answer questions. They were also eating the whole time that I was there.

Nonchalance had a good variety of dresses and colors. That's about it. We ordered bridesmaid dresses there, they insisted on ordering 2 sizes too big and then when they did the alterations-the dress looked awful. They first took the over-sized dress in too much, so then they had to let it out, and the stitching ended up coming open at the wedding! Not to mention the band on the dress that they "had to remove" to do the alterations was no straight when it was sewn back on. AWFUL!

Nonchalance does have a great selection of dresses. Their service and alterations were awful. I was given an attitude by the owner of the shop. Who inferred that my size not the dress and alterations were the problem. Our party was misinformed by a salesperson and seamstress regarding the ability to alter the dress. Instead of offering to counsel her staff the owner became extremely defensive. I eventually took the dress to Affordable Elegance, Hasbrouck Heights (which has the same selection) to have the dress re-altered. Another, bridesmaid had to have the dress altered three separate times!!!! Total cost of alterations was more than the dress and Nonchalance could not have cared less.

I think Nonchalance has the best selection of bridesmaid dresses in Morris County. Hundreds of styles in a variety of price points.
I was looking for a fairly inexpensive bridesmaid dress, and the employees directed me to the racks with the cheaper styles and informed me of discounts. (if 5 or more bridesmaids are ordering dresses, you get a percentage off the total price).
The employees brought out sample books to show me what colors the dresses came in, and were helpful in the fitting rooms.
There is also a big selection of bridal accessories and MOB dresses, although the MOB dresses all seemed to be old and picked through.
PROS: enormous selection, very helpful employees
CONS: not a big selection of mother of the bride dresses

This store is great for selecting bridesmaid dresses. They have a huge selection, and offer group discounts for parties of 2 or more. I found their prices to be the most affordable even before the discounts. I could not give them a higher rating however, because their service is just OK. They seem to be organized, but it is always crowded and it is hard to get help sometimes. Their seemstress is horrible and alterations are expensive.

Nonchalance has one of the best selections of bridesmaid dresses in the area - Watters and Watters, Bill Heljm, etc. The sample dresses are in okay condition (some are a bit more battle worn than others) and the samples come in a range of sizes, rather just all being 8's and 10's like many other bridesmaid shops. They have a great selection of flower girl dresses as well, including Vera Wang. They sell bridesmaid and bride jewelry, hairclips, and tiaras. They are very organized and it's a fairly large store with about 5 dressing rooms. They do alterations on site as well.

I could not agree more that the people in this store are stuck up and obnoxious! I tell every person I can to avoid this store at all costs. They treat customers like dirt and blame you for their mistakes. The alterations were a disatster. Does the seamstress know how to cut a straight line? Be very careful if you need to get a dress here. Make sure you realize that they are snakes out to get your money in EXTRA ALTERATION FEES! Out of every experience Ive heard of, not one was a happy one.

These women act like you should be well versed in being a bride's maid. They were rude and insulting every opportunity they got. I thought nothing could disgust me more than their attitudes until I saw the aweful altering job that was done to my already hideous bridal gown. I have never been treated so poorly. And to think...aren't weddings supposed to be happy occasions? Shouldn't this be a joyous store? Boy did they pick the wrong industry. If you have bridesmaids you hate, pick their gowns from this dump otherwise, keep driving.
