Five days after ordering furniture I was told the set was being discontinued in the color I wanted but available in a similar color. The salesperson over the phone was useless, he didn't know iwhen the new color would be available. He didn't know if they were getting a sample in stock. The main headquarter customer service never answered my many phone calls, always to voicemail. I was told there was a similar collection in the new color to see, but when I went back to the store again, the salesperson was not confident of the coloring. I decided to just get my money back. I sent back to the store, again, but was turned away b/c I did not bring my copy of the receipt, even though the salesperson had the receipt right in front on him. I returned again, with the receipt, and this time he tried to say the credit card was not the original card and wasn't going to give the refund. I did finally get a full refund but I was a very difficult task. This store was was extremely challenging to deal with, their customer service is terrible. In the end I found the same furniture in the color I originally wanted in Posh Baby (Staten Island) and got the furniture in less than two weeks, and for two hundred dollars lesst han Crib and Teen City. It is a disgrace that this store is in business!

Spent $5000 on Stanley furniture set for my son. Beautiful set, nice selection, sales people were nice. Was willing to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery. Then the problems began. They will not deliver on Saturdays, and they will not give you an afternoon delivery, only a window between 8 AM and 6PM. I had my parents wait at my house the whole day and they didn't show up. Then they did deliver the following Saturday, however almost every piece had damages, multiple damages, and they forgot the dresser. Had to wait 5 more weeks for a delivery on the dresser and a replacement hutch and doors for the bookshelf. Received the doors in the mail, they were damaged and did not match. Then I had to make my parents wait all day for delivery of the replacement hutch and dresser, and they didn't show up till almost 7 PM!!! My parents waited all day and we were home by the time delivery arrived, wait it gets better, they had the wrong dresser and the replacement hutch was worse than the first one. We denied delivery and cancelled the order. 9 weeks and we have to go furniture shopping again. Furious.

my daughters bedroom set was delivered 2 weeks ago and the items were all there except the mirror which was on backorder. We were called in less than a week and the mirror was in. They came back and installed the mirror. We were happy to have such prompt service especially after having a bad experience with another furniture store. The salespeople at the store were very helpful and the customer service manager followed up the whole way with the mirror.

Sales is ok, but once you run into a problem, you will not receive help from the customer service department. They do not answer the phone and when you leave a message, expect not to receive a call back. The owner does not even care that his customer service department is not doing their job. Read reviews on google, yahooo and consumer affairs.

My wife and I paid over $2500 for baby furniture and were met with nothing but hassle and aggravation. We ordered a crib, and after a few delivery 'push-backs' everything was delivered...except for the conversion rails. TWO MONTHS later the rails were delivered, only for us to discover that they aren't even the same color as the crib.

This was the Marlton location. Avoid Crib and Teen City at all costs!

We did find a bunk bed and dresser for my son but we found it ourselves. You would think the salespeople would want a sale. The have a nice variety in store and catalogs. Quality is good. Delivery was pushed back twice. Not such great service.
