Wow. What a great experience. I had to close my loan in 3 weeks. I know I wasn't the most perfect customer, but the people at Mountain held my hand and made me feel like I was their only customer. The loan closed without any gliches. Normally, I would have expected to pay a higher rate for this exceptional service, but the rate was also the most competitive around. I would recommend them highly. They took a tense situation for me and my family and made it so simple.

I worked with Phil Merola, who was always courteous, informed, and helpful. Things moved smoothly and efficiently. If anything, I was a difficult customer, locking in a rate, then cancelling, then reopening the file, then ultimately bowing out of the deal for personal reasons. Phil was great (and patient). We were ultimately not charged the charged the lock-in fees.

Their rates were usually among the lowest. I would definitely recommend them.

We had the most exceptional expierience with Mountain Mortgage.
In a climate of unrest and uncertanty, Mountain rose to the highest level in our Mortgage process. With in a 10 day period we were approved for a 3 million dollar loan. The folks at Mountain were both helpfull, and most of all completely organized from start to finish.
This was our 5 th loan with Mountain, and would highly reccomend them to the world.

I've had very good experience with Mountain Mortgage Corp at the time when everybody was talking about how difficult to get a loan and that mortgage companies trick their customers. I found Mountain Mortgage Corp via BankRate.com they just had the lowest rates in NJ. I was very cautious and asked Mark Grossman and other people at the firm numerous questions trying to make sure that everything went smoothly. I got answers to all my questions and they delivered what was promised. They even allowed me to reduce (float down) the locked rate (for a fee).
They are very easy to reach, always polite and responsive. Special thanks to Mark, NikkiAnn and Nora.

I can not say enough good things about the people at Mountain Mortgage Corp. Although I thought my transaction was easy, other companies that I called asked so many questions about my history and credit before I was able to even able to apply or be quoted an interest rate. My loan officer at Mountain was very professional. My disclosures and lock in agreement were e-mailed to me as soon as the application was completed and it was extremely accurate. Everything went as smoothly as I was told. What a great experience. I hope anyone reading this can benefit from my good fortune.

I applied for a mortgage with Mountain Mortgage Corp and was a little leary of the low rate that was advertised but sure enough, they approved my loan at the exact rate quoted with a great 90 day guaranteed rate lock even though rates had risen quite a bit after I applied. I guess there are truly some legitimate lenders that not only appear too good to be true, but turn out to be even better than advertised. What a pleasure to do business with.

After shopping around for a while I applied with Mountain Mortgage Corp. I called a few times and every time I did I got a very helpfull person on the phone without going though a phone menu or holding on for a long time. The service was fast and very professional. They truly are a very competitive company with great knowledge and make getting a mortgage a very easy delightfull process.

Lying, extremely rude and unprofessional mortgage broker. Before I paid the $620 application fee I was told by their sales representative, Mark Grossman, I was entitled to one free float down if rates dropped. I guess they weren't expecting rates to go down, but they did. When I called them on that "free flow-down" their story changed. I ended up having to pay an additional $475 for the lower rate. They are masters at the bait and switch tactic. I guess they've had many complaints about this tactic and now clearly state on their website you may incur additional fees.

Their office administrator, "Nikki" took an extremely long time to process my loan which made me miss my closing date. I was homeless for a month because of this. When trying to speak with her about what was taking so long she got very rude and hung up on me. I called back and she hung up again.

When I complained about horrible treatment to their management I was called a liar by their vice president, Philip Merola. Had I not been homeless I would have walked away from this mortgage broker.

They stole $475 and never even apologized for the rude treatment. Do yourself and favor and don't be lured in. They will not treat you like a valued customer and you'll regret having worked with them.

We recently tried for a mortgage from them and they were really nice in the beginning promising a very low rate, but later they just rejected our application and we lost our $600 application fee.After rejecting the application we cancelled their home appraisal process,because it was absolutely unnecessary, but still they went ahead and did the appraisal so that they could avoid refunding the $300 appraisal fee. Cheats.
We have good credit score, and a small car loan pending which we were ready to close, yet they didn't approve the loan. But the worst part is they are not interested in responding to emails.Only after several attempts did they even reply once, telling that they rejected the application because of the other loan, and that it was their last reply. They didn't even give us a chance to clear off the loan. They were happy having the 600 dollars ,i guess.
Would never recommend them to anybody.

I was recommeded to Mountain Mortgage from a lawyer so I figured it would be a good recommendation. It was! Mountain mortgage had the best rates that we had seen during our review. Additionally, they were so easy to work with and reviewed our application very quickly. They responded to all our questions (and trust me, there were many!) in a timely manner. We had a relatively short closing - under 1 month and they were able to accomodate us very easily. Their fees were reasonable - $620. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and plan to use them again!
