Pitman Bakery

Does anyone remember Mrs. Pointer, who baked from her home in the 1960's in Pitman? Awesome chocolate cake. Mom used to buy her cakes all the time for our birthdays.

P.S. Mom used to buy Petit Fours from the Pitman Bakery for my sleepover parties at friends home. We all loved them!

Absolutely THE BEST bakery in South Jersey....their cream donuts are to die for. It is like the old fashioned donuts we used to get from a German bakery in Northeast Philadelphia. Taste them and you can tell the difference. There's no comparison to them and the donut shops put up on every corner. Get the real thing....go to the Pitman Bakery.

Pitman Bakery has the best cream donuts on the planet! Their are donuts rank pretty high too. Glaze donuts can't be beat either. Their donuts are a bit pricey but worth the cost. Again, their cream donuts are the GREATEST!

The best Chocolate Bismarks are my favorite. They are light and fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside. I have their phone number on my cell phone.

I grew up with the Oaklyn Bakery and when they closed there was Dansers in Lindenwold then they closed. The only good old fashioned bakery left is the Pitman Bakery. Everything is so fresh, yummy and smell absolutely heavenly. The Pitman Bakery is not only an all time favorite but also a throw back to any girl or boy's childhood. May the Pitman Bakery keep going for many more generations to come.

Pitman Bakery is the best! I was surprised at my wedding shower with a Pitman Bakery cake. It was the most beautiful cake I've ever seen! I was getting married in Puerto Rico, so my friends asked them to create a special design to celebrate my destination wedding. They transformed an ordinary cake into a masterpiece. They designed the cake to replicate the beauty of the island. They included the ocean with a tiny boat, palm trees growing out of sand and even white chocolate star fish and sea shells! The cake was, by far, the best I have EVER tasted. The chocolate cake was so moist and delicious. It just melts in your mouth. I also had the chance to sample some of their tasty donuts and pastries. Please, if you are ever in Pitman or you need to purchase a cake, stop by this bakery. Believe me; youll never go anywhere else after youve tasted some of their delicious treats!

Just the smell of the bakery when you walk in makes your mouth water. They have a lot of cakes and other delicious baked goods. My favorite are the cookies with the sprinkles on them, because I used to get one for free from the ladies behind the counter when I was little. The cinnamon buns are delicious too!

I grew up in Pitman and the Pitman bakery was important to us. Mrs. Rosiak used to always give our daughter free cookies when our daughter was a baby. We still go back when we visit Jersey and it's still the best bakery in the world. You have to try the sticky Cinnamon buns with nuts. They are awesome.

Very good place if you want a good dessert. Not many places make desserts that taste like the way this bakery makes them! You can taste the quality. Very nice.

This is the old fashioned kind of bakery where they actually bake the goodies right there, not frozen type stuff you get in the bakery at the grocery stores these days. Awesome doughnuts! They have the best desserts you could imagine. This is one of our favorite treats. I highly recommend trying some of their treats.
