.

Historically, Kearny has been somewhat involved with things. General Phillip Kearny was a very important figure in the war with Mexico. That's where he lost his arm. The museum offers all kinds of things. For example, in one section you'll see old garments that look like they may have been worn around the 20's or 30's. In another section you see Ammunition and artillery shells from the Civil war. There are swords, books, and more. It isn't exactly the best museum, but if you are bored on a tuesday (I think) afternoon, why not check it out? Maybe you could learn a thing or two? It's free anyway, so don't let the possibility of a fee bring you down.

PROS: Free, some interesting things.
CONS: Not many things in there that will make you want to come back often.
