I have been dining in and taking out food from the Kosher Nosh for decades. I was fortunate to live within walking distance for years, living further away right now I still go back there.

Holiday food is excellent, only down side is they do raise the prices for the holidays.

It is not a cheap restaurant but you get what you pay for, excellent food! Their corned beef, pastrami sandwiches are to die for. All of their sides for take out are excellent. Chicken soup is very good (get fresh not frozen!) The matzah balls are large and pricey but good. Noodles I get on the side, not in the soup and buy 5 quarts for the holidays.

Chopped liver is THE best in NJ! For holidays I buy that and soup, sometimes make my own matzah balls, if no time to I buy theirs but again pricey, about $2.50 per matzah ball if not more.

All in all they have the BEST Kosher food in the NJ area that I am aware of.

Any problems, ask for Avi the owner. Always specify exactly what you want, you'll get it.

I highly recommend the Kosher Nosh, it's a treat for me when I go there or take out from there.

Thanks Avi!

Food is outstanding. Our favorites are the stuffed cabbage, matzo-ball soup, potato pancakes, and the pot roast. Truly a world-class Kosher restaurant. It's been there as long as I can remember and has always had a loyal following. Prices are good too.
