I recently had the displeasure to make a purchase and return here. The staff has no idea about the products they sell. I purchased a Lamy Swift pen. When I asked what the difference in barrel colors was they said it was just paint or finish and that they were ball points. The difference is actually the materials, such as nickle palladium alloy, not paint and finish. Also they are roller ball pens, not ball points. Roller balls use dye or gels, not oil based inks.
Later that same day I decided to return my purchase. This is where it all went wrong. The sales woman presented me with a three part carbon form asking for my name, address, and phone number. When I asked her what the form was for she told me it goes to corporate and that it was to make sure employees aren't just ringing returns. I told her that I paid with a credit card and that's were they could send my returned purchase. It didn't state anything about a form in their return policy on my receipt and that I was not interested in filling their form out. The sales woman called over the manger and told him I said no to the form. At this point he gets angry tells me they don't accept returns without the form and that if I will not fill it out he will not accept my return. I asked what corporate does with the form and information and how it is stored to which the manager said I don't know. I told him that I couldn't fill it out if he couldn't tell me what it was or what it was for and that I would just like my money back. We go back and forth for a bit and he finally realizes that I made the purchase that same day and decides to void my purchase from their credit card terminal before they send their batch report for the day. I never fill out the form. At one point the manger rips 2 of the carbon copies off and tells me I can fill out just one. I never do. The last thing I need if for their corporate offices to collect information about me and sell it because they have a privacy policy that is not disclosed and that the employees are unaware of.
I have to say that I am the type of person who would have spent money here. I may have even picked something else out before I left. But now I will never go back to Paradise Pen Co. Their staff has no idea what they are selling. Their managers have zero customer service skills or idea about after sales service. This is the place you would buy a gift, but don't expect to be able to return it.

I was recently traversing the Bridgewater Commons Mall and I came across this store. My sister just got a job as a teacher and she needed pens, pencils, stationery, etc. for her desk. I mentioned this to one of the employees working there and he helped me pick out nice supplies for her desk. Very helpful indeed.
