I am disgusted with NYC Shoes. They destroyed my brand new shoes when they dyed them. I had them dyed teal and when I picked them up the 1st time they had white spots allover the front in the pleats of of the shoe. They look awful everyone who looked at them said OMG those are new? They thought they were old dyed shoes. I brought them back and tried to give me a hard time saying it was shading. BS! whoever dyed them did a horrible job. They offered to redye them. I just picked them up today. I was horrified when I saw the disaster in the box. They did cover the white spots but now there are brownish dirty looking stains allover the front and the toe where the peep toes is has yellowish stains. I spoke with the manager she said whats the problem they are fine? I said seriously you are going to tell me these are fine? She said yes I am. I told that the shoes looked old, worn and stained. She immediately got very loud and said that I was overexaggerating. She continued to get louder and at this point was yelling at me telling me it is just the shading AGAIN. I said no the shading should not be brown and looked stained. Lol she denied seeing a problem and told me basically it was too bad they would not do anything to help me at this point. The rest of the bridal party went to PAYLESS and their shoes are gorgeous, as a matter of fact I brought a pair of them to use as a color reference and the manager could not even tell that the PAYLESS shoes were dyed. This was a horrible experience, it is a week away from my Sisters wedding and the Maid of Honor has the ugliest ratty looking dyed shoes. I called every where and there is not enough time to go somewhere else. I told the manager that she should be embarassed by the product they forced me to pay for with the disgusting dying they were $70. NEVER GO HERE THE STORE IS DIRTY DINGEY AND SMELLS MOLDY. THE MANAGER IS NASTY AND BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE WAS COVERED IN DYE WHEN I GOT THERE SO IT IS SAFE TO SAY SHE IS MOST LIKELY THE ONE THAT DESTROYED MY SHOES. Oh and not to mention just from taking the shoes out of the box at the store my hands turned blue. As a matter of fact the my bridal shop sent shoes here to be dyed and they now have a huge clearance bin of shoes that were dyed incorrectly by this store. BUYER BEWARE!!

I have made purchases from this store. Most of my purchases have been for dye-able, bridesmaids shoes. They have a large selection of special occasion shoes. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

After checking out several other stores, this one by far had the best and largest selection around. They had all types and styles around- many of which i did not see in other stores. Not only do they have shoes for the bride, but the whole bridal party and the mother of the bride can find something here. They had some great silver shoes. And they will also dye shoes to match the bridesmaid dress. They also carry some flip flops and other cute slippers. They also carry a wide variety of cute purses. This is a help your self kind of place and you find your own shoes, size, but the staff there were very helpful and were able to help find something when we could not find it on the shelf. The prices are very good. Definitely a great place and certainly worth looking into if you are looking for bridal shoes. Or even prom shoes.
