Kingsway Awning Blinds & Shade

I, along with other family members , are very satisfied second generation Kingsway customers. Realizing that every window, retractable, etc..must be individually and accurately measured before any job can even be quoted, let alone started. Because each piece is custom , it is cut and sewn by the owner himself, and we accept the fact that once in awhile a job, repair and or estimate may be delayed. We also take into consideration that the rain,wind and snow interfere with the measuring, installation and the take down of awnings. While everyones definition of good customer service varies, we believe Kingsway to be first class from their quality of craftsmanship to their dedication to their customers. You will not be disappointed. Sometimes to get the best you have to be willing to wait a little longer.

I have had 3 sets of awnings from Kingsway Awnings. All were of great workmanship and materials. I have never had any problems with fit or need for any repair. I have dealt with both Jack Hill and now Chris Hill and both were professional and polite. They delivered what they promised and in a timely fashion.Ordering custom is a matter of timing. I found ordering in the off season (for awnings I believe that is fall & winter) was the smartest as the product was ready when I wanted installation. The first set I had to wait a little longer do to order volume because I ordered at their busy time. Their product is worth waiting for! Best Around! I recommend them 100 percent.

We have been extremely satisfied customers of Kingsway Awning for more than ten years and two sets of awnings / canopies. We purchased a second set not out of necessity (the first set was still beautiful after six years) but because we changed colors on our home. In those ten years we have had nothing but excellent service - from personal one-on-one consultations with former owner, the late Jack Hill, to his son and current owner Chris Hill - and have been equally happy with the recommendations and results from both. Requests for service either at the beginning or end of the summer season have always been met with courteous professionalism and timeliness. We've been complemented by neighbors numerous times on how nice the awnings make our home look and on three or four occassions, as a result of liking what they saw, neighbors have bought from Kingsway. I highly recommend Kingsway for the quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and excellent service - you truly get what you pay for. But if you shop based strictly on price (as another neighbor did - and as he soon found out), remember: "The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price fades."

We have had our awnings for 17 years and we love the friendly service we get from Kingsway Awning Company. There is something to be said about a Family owned company. When we learned that owner Jack Hill had died, we were very saddened, he was a very special person and always took great care of us. His son Chris has taken over and we are getting the same special service that we got from Jack. I keep their business cards close at hand, because we get so many compliments about our awnings. Our developer even used OUR house for his Business ads. You will receive the very best in personal service, something that is very hard to come by these days. I would recommend Kingsway to make your house look great.

After dealing with another awning company for years, last spring we decided to go with Kingsway, Owner (chris hill) came to our house personally, which we liked. He listened to our needs and he suggested some minor changes. He completed everything exactly the way he explained to us and WOW what a difference a excellent awning company can do. We really enjoyed dealing with Kingsway and we consider Chris a friend now. I wish there was more family oriented businesses like Kingsway. Thank you. I inherited Kingsway when I purchased my home in late 1995. The Patio Awning I inherited, that had been manufactured by Kingsway, had sprung leaks via flaws in the fabric. In Dec 2000 I signed a contract for a new awning as the owner, Jack Hill, had advised me that the age of the awning was the problem.
In the Spring of 2001 the new awning was installed.
Each year since I have had it removed and stored.
Each year since I have requested reinstallation in early April.
Each year since I receive numerous excuses for why the reinstallation is delayed.
During the last three years I have notitfied them, in writing, of loose threads at the seams which I wish to have checked.
Each year the awning is reinstalled without any mention of the loose threading of the awning they manufactured.
This year (following my annual written notes for cleaning. checking seams and cleaning) I had requested, as usual, reinstallation in early April.
On todays date, May 4th, I called and was advised that the holdup was due to a truck driver who cleans the awnings but does not return to the shop until after 5PM.
I would like to believe that Kingsway was being an honest broker.
After so many years of their not responding to my written messages, increased fees withj no prior notification, etc., etc. I am amazed that they continue to exist. It must be the lack of competitive firms.

We have had our awnings for 13 years. When people drive by our house they stop to stare at our awnings. They have enhanced the beauty and value of our home. Since we had Kingsway Awning company put up our awnings, 5 of our nieghbors also had awnings installed by Kingsway, and everyone calls our street Awning Rd. They are prompt with our takedowns and rehangs, And their staff are friendly and more than helpful. Thanks Jack Hill and Company. James Ferguson, Mullica Hill, NJ
