I will start off saying i loved jarons before my most recent experience. Im a recent college grad who just got my own house and all of my furniture is from jarons. The floor staff is great. The business staff however are horrible. I went last week to get a gift cerificate for my sisters bday as she wanted a bedroom set from jarons. I get it no problems. Then she tells me that she went to put the set on layaway and the price increased 400, she saw the set elsewhere so she wants to get it from there. Ok. I call jarons and ask about their refund policy. A young lady had to ask her coworkers as she didnt know. Then she tells me that i have 72h to get a refund. If i came "after hours" then a check will be cut for me since i paid with cash. Ok. I came back the next day not even 24h later. An older woman told me that all the cash was taken to the bank and a check would be cut for me the following thurs. I got the certificate fri so this was now sat. And i wouldnt be able to get my money back until the next thurs. I paid with cash so why is it so difficult to give me my money back sooner. she tells me if i had come before 8 yesterday i wudve been able to get the cash back. Thurs 12:30 i call to see if my check was there. The older lady tells me they dnt pick up the checks until the afternoon. I ask her is someone on their way to get them since it was in fact the afternoon. She says no, and it wont be available until after 7. Wth. How is that even possible. I become irate which i usually am not. I proceed to tell her about the initial phone call i made two hours after i brought the certificate and how i wished that the staff was adequately trained and provided complete info. the young lady i spoke with fri told me if i came "after hours" then someone would cut me a check. I just assumed that meant after 5, normal business hours. She never said a time or that i wouldnt get it until the following thurs evening. She tells me that she told me that when i came in. I told her i wasnt talking about my convo with her i was talking about the one i had with the younger woman who is probably sitting right next to you 2hrs after i got the certificate. If i had been given complete info then i wudve come back right away. She just kept saying but i told u. Infuriated i told her to call me when my check came and hung up as she was completely ignoring the point i was trying to make. I am partly responsible i know bc i guess i sudve asked what "after hours" meant. But i expect to be adequately informed by all staff members if i am calling in regards to an issue. I expect to be listened too and have my statements at least acknowledged when i am voicing my frustrations. And i expect to be able to get my money back in a decent time frame at a decent time especially since i paid for the item with cash.

I purchased 3 items from this store: oil painting, area rug, and floor lamp. Was promised that rug and lamp needed to be ordered and would be available within two weeks. Two weeks passed with no word from the store. I called and the receptionist casually told me that the rug was there but the lamp would not be available for another two weeks.

They were unapologetic about the situation and offered no viable solutions for this inconvenience. The had my money and saw no reason to work with me. The sales manager Gary Yett was arrogant, rude, and unapologetic about the situation. He tried to sale me some lamp they had sitting on the sales floor at full price expecting me to be happy with it. I was treated as an inconvenience. I don't see this store lasting long with the complete lack of respect the customer.

DO NOT BUY FROM JARONS IN BORDENTOWN - Bought living room set, coffee table, end tables and art work - spent over $1,000 -we picked up the furniture ourselves. When we went to assemble the tables there were tiles loose. We called and were told to bring them back and get another set. We attempted to assemble the second set and the same problem - loose tiles. We were told we could buy glue at Home Depot and fix them ourselves. REALLY??? We buy new furniture and have to fix it ourselves - I don't think so! Took them back and was told they would put the next set together and call us when ready. Went to get them and low and behold a loose tile -you could take it right out of the table - was told by the person helping me load the tables that the store manager had glued the tiles in himself - so I spoke to the store manager and he informed me I bought cheap furniture so what did I expect! So, they have no problem telling there customers they sell cheap furniture! He also in so many words called me an a**hole - I guess you should just accept what you pay for even if it is broken! Whether I spend $1 or $1,000 I don't expect to have to accept a broken item and I tend to think most people feel the same way. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE - as soon as the deal is done they don't want to hear from you - QUALITY OF FURNITURE IS TERRIBLE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEYOND HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Jarons Furniture sells the lowest quality furniture, hence the cheap price tag. I purchased a bedroom set, which I thought was safe because it was from Ashleys, turns out it was a poor decision. I should have spent a few hundred more at Raymour and Flanigan and I would be happy today. With less than 1 year, two posts on my bed had cracks, one rail and both nightstands. I reported in on 2/3/10 which was within my warranty. The first service visit they show up with 2 new posts that are damaged! They inspect my nightstands and say they need to order replacements and have to replace my rail. So I waited 4 hours for them do do nothing! Next service visit they show up with 2 more posts, a rail and NO NIGHTSTANDS! Oh and guess what, the 2 post were damaged again! So now they wanted to schedule a third visit. By the way the guys who showed up at my house smelled beyond belief of whatever it was they were smoking before pulling up to my house. Just want you want, some grungy guys putting their dirty hands all over your $4000 mattress! Did I mention the mess the left for me to clean up, like 10,000 little tiny silicon balls from the boxes they opened. That only took me an hour to vacuum up. THANKS JARONS! So I dont hear from them, they call, I ask to inspect the post before the come so not to waist another day, they never call back. I forget about it for a month or two, finally call them and now guess what, the have two posts, they don't know if they are good enough, no nightstands because they claim I reported it after my warranty despite a printed work order from them dated before my warranty expired. So because their service guys never added it, I'm stuck with two nightstands that have cracks in them. Great! Again awesome job Jarons, you really know how to treat customers and rectify customer complaints. Oh by the way, Sam or whatever her name is that answers the phone at the Bordentown store is a real joy to speak with. So now I asked them again to inspect the posts before the schedule and appointment so that I don't have to waiste another day waiting for these idiots to show up with broken parts.

We purchased a four piece living room at Jaron's Bordentown for SUBSTANIALLY less than the comparable set at Raymour and Flanigan. Sales staff was okay. Delivery was on time, all pieces carefully wrapped. Quality was good. I've had it for two years and it still looks great. I was and am very happy with them and look there first for any new purchases. I have shopped at all the other locals, including R&F and Thomasville, and I believe Jaron's is truly a great value.

I bought a JR. Power Bed for my son in April. It is now June and I am still waiting for missing parts to the bed. The guardrail and the trundle face was cracked, the storage boards were missing and the knobs do not tighten. After so many phone calls and never getting a straight answer I have no idea when I will receive the missing parts. Patrick the manager at Bordentown keeps telling me that the parts are coming but I have received nothing. Would NEVER buy anything from there again. BEWARE of purchasing anything from this Bordentown Outlet.

Well, we went back after my first review and positive experience. We purchased a new sectional couch with ottoman. We even went for the protection plan....bad idea. Within the first year we had a popped spring and broken arm rest (which Jaron's sent out a repair man to fix). Our couch is 2 years old and I doubt will last much longer. The same spring is popped, the ottoman is falling apart (frame damage and a popped seam) and on several corners the frame is about to pop through the fabric. After filling out paperwork with the Guardsman Protection company I just got a call that it is not covered...YAY, so much for protection.

While I understand normal wear and tear, I'm annoyed Jaron's even offers this "protection plan" that protects a whole lot of nothing.

He introduced himself, than left us alone to browse, which really took the pressure of furniture shopping off. They also had cookies, which kept my husband occupied. I plan on going back when we are ready to furnish another room

Jarons Furnitture outlet is where we purchased our living room set. The sales people were extremely helpful and non- pressuring. Although our furniture we purchased is beautiful, it ripped within one year of having it. I was disappointed.

This furniture store offers a large and inviting showroom with many areas to explore. The sales people let you know that they are there to help you, but are not overbearing and leave you to browse until you ask for their assistance. This is a large furniture store right on Route 206 in the small town of Bordentown. They have pretty reasonable prices. The last time I was there I was looking for leather sofas and they had good selection of them.They also carry bedroom
