I just read the review from the disgruntled consignee!I HAVE TOO say. I had the very best experience with Already Been Cuddled. I have to believe it is a case of some people are impossible to please! I have twins, so I have two of everything. And I have not had one problem. I have told everyone I know how wonderful this store is!

After all it is my stuff that was left with ABC, with nothing but a promise to be paid for it when it sold. Its is an equal relationship, so why do I have to keep calling and trying to collect? It really shouldn't be this hard. I totally sympathize with the negative posting and hope that it doesn't get to that point for me! Maybe the owner (the rude one who's schedule I'll need to work around) will take heed and change things just a bit. They sure were nice when i dropped off...

I would like to respond to the negative review which is posted here. I am the owner of this store and would like everyone to know that I have 300+ consignors and while you cannot make everyone happy, I try to do the best I can. My contract which all consignors must sign clearly states that I do not mail checks and that checks/statements are done every two months. While many do call every two months to check on their items and balances, many do not. I do it this way so that if the items are due to go back to my consignors they can pick them up and a check at the same time. I am the only person who writes the checks and I make these appointments for when I am in the store. Most of my consignors have been with me since 2003 and are happy with our program and the profits they make from the items I sell for them. We have been voted "One of the Best of South Jersey" twice and are very proud of our reputation. I welcome anyone to stop in and check out our store. Everything must be clean and ready to be used immediately upon purchase. My store speaks for itself and I ask everyone to stop in and see for yourself. I can assure you I do not have anyone that I sold 100s of dollars of merchandise for that have not been paid.

If you are thinking about trying to sell your things there, I would think again. I have never been treated so rudely as a consignor. Oh sure, when you drop your stuff off, they're happy to have it but it goes down quickly from there. First, they do not make it clear AT ALL how and when you get paid. You'll discover that it will be months before you can receive payment, good luck trying to collect. First, you have to make an appointment to get your check, I am not kidding, they will not mail it to you. And not anyone answering the phone can make that appt. So you have to keep calling back. And if you do get the person on the phone (Marlene the owner) who is the ONLY person who can make these appointments, you will find she is as rude as they come. Good luck working around HER schedule to get paid. I finally gave up, dropped off hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of furniture, toys, DVD's and more and received NOTHING, not ONE DIME. Next for me is a complaint to the BBB. I have been a consignor for over 20 years and have never had such a negative experience.
