Vaughn's Oil Company was very unprofessional! Our heater system needed repair and we called this company. They came out and after "suckering" us into purchasing a maintenace package with a guarantee that we would purchase oil from them; otherwise we would be breaking the expensive contract. We've ordered heating oil from them twice and during the week-end we ran out of oil. (yes, last week-end when it was about 15 degrees outside) I called on Saturday and Sunday however both of their telephone numbers were not forwarding calls. When we reached someone in the office first thing Monday morning, we were informed that we would have to pay an extra $125 in order to have oil delivered that day. (keep in mind it was approximately 15 degrees outside) After speaking to the customer service representative and then being transferred to the owner, he informed me that it was not his problem that we ran out of oil and that we should keep a better eye on how much oil we have. Did I mention that our oil tank is underground! Case in point: Vaughn's Oil Company did not deliver oil and we were forced to go elsewhere. Additionally, I was forced to break the already paid for maitenance contract. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY....PATRONIZING COMPANIES THAT HAVE YOU OVER A BARREL IS NOT THE AMERICAN WAY!
