Fords Jewelers

I have been a customer of Fords Jewelers for over 25 years now. I have never regretted a single purchase from them. There staff is both helpful and knowledgeable. Their prices are highly competitive, and their service is second to none. I have purchased watches, rings, and collectibles, and they have always treated me like royalty in the process. They get my highest recommendation. It just does not get any better than this.

I have bought our wedding and engagement rings from Fords and been in love with them for almost 10 years. I am looking forward to buying the 10 year soon. If you can not trust Fords, then you might want to examine yourself. Highest quality and even a variety of items for those of us who are not 'well off'.

Went in for a watch and found pickings very slim but I was told the watch I wanted could be brought in. Well to say the least 2 months went by and no call, so I went in to see sales lady who told me If I had purchased the watch sight unseen it would have been in sooner. 2-3 weeks after that I was told that Rado was out of that particular watch but they would call me once available. I am still waiting and that was last year. I went to another jeweler that evening who had no trouble bringing watch in and I bought it on the spot - no problems. Owners of Fords Jewelers must have it nice if they do not have to worry about making sales.

This is the only jeweler I know since my entire family including my grandparents have been coming here for years. The quality is great and selection is wonderful. There is definately something for everyone here. Also they have sales sometimes and you can get items for a good price. I have many pieces from here that I wear often and get complimented on. Pretty much all of my mother jewelry is from here. I highly recommend them.

After reading the review from "Anonoymous" I felt compelled to send a review about Fords Jewelers. I have never been to a jeweler with more integrity then Fords. The reviewer obviously has an ax to grind.Please read all the reviews and make your judgement. And better yet visit them and make your own judgement you will be pleasantly surprised.

Politicians, public figures, and radio talk show hosts get only the best treatment by "the legendary Barry Berman", but if you're not a VIP, you can get a much better deal elsewhere. What Barry does for the "commoner" is set an astronomical markup on an item, and then take x% off for the customer so that the uninformed feel like they're getting a great deal. It's never very crowded in there, so the unwitting customer feels even more special while they give away their earnings. To be fair, some VIPs (like one young former Mayor turned former NJ Governor and his estranged wife) have received great deals and even FREE GIFTS from the man, who would generously keep the shop open late for his friends, and have his employees work for free (OT is unheard of at Fords'). However, other customers as well as his underpaid staff compensate for his losses making up a fat profit margin for Mr. Berman. On the plus side for the customer, provocative dress and makeup for the young ladies who work there is part of the unwritten dress code, which some shoppers have misinterpreted at times. It's all part of doing business though at Berman's Fords Jewelers.

The purchase of a watch for over $2000 was a horror. The watch didn't work and was finally replaced. The second watch has been in the repair shop for 8 weeks and seems lost in limbo. I suppose it's a good place to buy ear rings but stay away from anything complicated.

PROS: Large selection
CONS: Inept service

Fords Jewelers has the most selection in fine watches. From Timex to Rolex. They also have a large selection of Jewelery, thee finest gold and gems. The staff is very helpful. They also have a wide selection of fine gifts like Lenox and Disney. I highly recommend them.

They are very well known jewelers. I had to get a simple repair for my watch done here. The problem was that the belt was way too big and I needed to get it smaller. They did a fine job decreasing the belt size. They also did it for free because I was also buying some jewelry at that time. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a well known, honest jewelry store.

Quality starts here at Ford's Jewelers. They have a vast selection of diamonds and watches. The staff was not pushy when I was there and that is hard to find when it comes to a Jewelry shop. They are dedicated to making you happy with your purchase and provide a limited warranty in case there are any problems you can just bring the jewelry back into them. I really love my watch and will come back to them.

My husband buys all my jewelry here and they always remember us when we walk in there to buy another piece. Their prices are pretty much exactly where they should be. Plus, I have gone back many times just to get a piece of jewelry cleaned and they are always accommodating. If you're looking for a great piece of jewelry that will last a lifetime at a great price... go to Fords Jewelers.

Very reputable - I've been going there for years. They cater to your needs and treat you like they've known you forever. They will go to all ends to find what you are looking for. My engagment ring came from there and they steered me to a place to where I could get a wedding band custom made because what I wanted they didn't have. They remember you when you come back - they don't forget their customers. Their prices are right where they should be. If you have a problem with a piece you can go there and they'll work with you.
