Salon La Mode No 1

This post is to respond to Marie A.'s post. First of all, thank you for posting. However, Marie might be mistaken with another salon. Two operators that Marie mentioned in the post either never been employed at Salon La Mode (Karly) or has left the salon 4 years back (Maria). Moreover, Maria is a very command name so I might not think she was our retired Maria. Regarding to the desk personnel, our receptionist MaryAnn, has been in this profession for years. However, I would not discount for any bad day or bad moments. Once again, I just think that Marie might be mistaken with another salon and I am hoping it's a case. Our salon has been in town for more than 27 years and I am taking comments/suggestions from our clients sincerely and seriously. Service is our number one priority and it is always discussed in our weekly staff meeting. We always hope our clients leaving our salon with a smile every time after their services. Marie can call me at 732-343-5239 to discuss and I am sure she will be never disappointed. Thanks again for posting our comments and/or complements.

Great Stylist; Terrible Salon

I had a terrific experience at Salon La Mode in early August 2009, largely because I had a wonderful stylist--Karly. She did exactly the blow-dry and styling that I wanted, as well as making new suggestions for changes in my cut, and she did the best brow-waxing I've ever had. She spent time and did a meticulous job at everything. Karly gets my highest rating. Everyone else at Salon La Mode, however, was a disaster. The desk personnel were cold and unresponsive and unfriendly. They warned me to be there exactly on time and then let me sit for 20 minutes past my appointment without saying a word to me. When I finally inquired, they substituted Karly for the very-late or unavailable Maria. This, of course, turned out very very well. If you go to this Salon, be sure to ask for Karly.

This place is great-- walk ins are OK. Manicure+Pedicure set is a great price. Everything is clean & staff is very friendly. My mani/pedi from here always lasts close to, if not more than a month.

Nice clean open family-friendly salon where you can still get a good cut, color, manicure, pedicure, acrylics, gels, and waxing for less than most places. The new pedicure tubs are very nice and the pedicure charis top-of-the line with many various massage features. The staff are all very friendly, and keep update of their knowledge of new techniques. There is something here for just about everyone. Even the other clients I've met here are all very interesting friendly people. The salon itself is clean, modern, and it's easy to get around the well-lit open space. I've been coming here for approx. 17 years and have yet to find a better place for the value.

modern looks and great service hair and nails salon in town. Friendly operators who serve clients as its own family members. their new pipless pedicure stations with great human touch massage chairs are fungus worried free. Try it out to believe it.

Salon la Mode: overpriced and overvalued, this store holds little originality. It churns out preppy, overused hairstyles by the dozens, creating millions of teenage clones. The service is as poor as the hair fashion; the hairstylers pay little attention to the customer, and waits are extremely long. Definitely not worth the trip.
