I was recently recommened to Alpine by a friend and was extremely pleased with the quality of service. Steve, the company estimator, was very helpful in suggesting ways to make our home more efficient and comfortable. It has been almost a year now since our new system was installed and we are very pleased with the efficiency of the unit, the quality of service, as well as the amount we are saving monthly on our utility bills!!! I would highly recommend Alpine! Great Job!

I just had my boiler and water heater replaced by Alpine on 10/5/09 and let me tell you their service was outstanding! Arthur, the owner came to my home and inspected my systems and gave me many options to choose from. He spent about 45 minutes explaining to me the best way to go to save the maximum amount of money for the highest quality equipment.His crew had both systems out and the new equipment installed in about a day and a half. They even took the time to explain what they were doing each step of the way.Every part of the project was done at the highest standards with no compromises or short cuts what so ever, I know this is true because I have 30 years of building maintenance background. I highly recommend Alpine Refrigeration to anyone their work ethics are top notch (very professional and friendly) I plan to use them next year to install a gas fireplace in my home which they also do! For the price I received for my boiler and water heater I'm not going to bother to get quotes for my fireplace that's how confident I am in their service. I've done the research and I know I got a great deal with this company.

Stay away. They install new equipment, but do not care about the 20 year old pipes they are installibng it to. Invariabley there are condensation issue. They could not care less and will try to bill you again and again as the pipes are not covered by their warrenty. at first the owner appears to be nice (this is a trick) he could does not care what happens to your house once his equipment is installed. Stay away. save yourself a headache.

I had wonderful experience. Through Homedepot, I met with Arthur, the owner for estimate. He gave me the numbers and mailed me the formal estimates. Like other companies as Sears, he wouldnt pressure us to take it. Mean time I checked with the other companies like Sears, PSE&G, Lowes...no one was able to match to his estimate.Earlier we planned to get only 13 seer AC and one stage furnace. However, since he gave such good estimate, we went to 14 seer AC and 2 stage furnace and yet its was very cheap than other companies were offering. The work was done in 2 days for replacing AC and Furnace, I didnt have any problem. His workers are very professional.Only problem I had was that we have 2 thermostats, one for AC and one for Furnace. We wanted them to give us 2 thermostats as we are replacing AC and Furnace, the workers wouldnt agree. I even told them that I shall pay for another thermostat, they told me to call the company and fix the appointment and they shall come another time. I had to argue with them a lot, I told them when you are already here, it wouldnt take you long to fix, but they were little rude and said "NO"I told my husband to call Arthur directly, which he did and spoke to him, Arthur was cool and said no problem at all. He sent same worker later in few minutes to replace 2nd thermostat...and it was fixed in just 5 minutes.

I called Alpine for an estimate of AC replacement, had not got a call back for schedule until I called again around 5 pm when only Arthur the owner got the call. However, Arthur did come to look at the job site, and didn't call me back for the estimate within three days, during this period I had called the office several times. Finally Bob called me back and indicated that my Air Handler is up at the attic, which no one in his company want to take the job.
I then called three other contractors, and they all gave me estimates without complaining the job sites. I got the AC installed within 2 days after Bob refused to give me an estimate.

BAD service and not there,,,,when you need it.
Owner seems nice but nobody else and you don't see the owner except when you estimate. Do not use this company - HOME DEPOT should be shameful too - since I used them through HD.
his is the company you will see nice face when you purchase the unit, but you will never see or hear from them when you need their service. My AC broke in 1 yr and I called several time to talk to some live person, and they were nasty. Usually wait a several days to have them come and they never call before they come, so you need to stay at home all day.
Especially when they take phone calls, if it is related to service issue, they are so nasty and not cooperative. One day I called to ask them to come for service which I got appointment 4 days earlier, he said they come by and nobody at home (I was at home all day) - they are lying. and when I asked details and he said 'OK we will not come to your house.' and Hang up the phone'.
When I called 10 times and finally reached one person, she said my phone number in their database is my fax number and they called by that number and it was fax, so they did not come. When I asked why do you have my fax number instead of home phone or cell phone. She said that is what they have as customer number. I don;t get it.
By the way, do not use this company. They are very nice especiallu owner (Arther), bt you will not see hime anymore forever and nobody is responsible for their unit or service and SO NASTY!!! Think about it. My AC is 2 yr old. How come every summer, I should go though these service issues???

he came to give me a quote and we ended up talking for couple of hours. what an interesting person. he gave me the best price on the heater and offered a great competitive price on the a/c. he also workes with home depot so if you have hd card you can use it for his services. highly recomed and will do a/c with him next year if it is not gonna die on my this season.
