Waited at the door for 8 minutes before someone came over to seat us. Two people acknowledged us but did nothing to seat us.
Once we were seated we waited about 10 minutes before we could order. The waiter took the order of the people behind us and next to us but completely ignored us. I was really ready to walk out. Food was good but pasta on the side is extra????
Disappointed by service. Could have been a great meal.

Very overrated on this page. there are much better italian restaurants in the area, for example, Paradisio in River Vale, or Robert's in Rochelle Park. I had a similar problem that I see repeated here, in that the food was very salty. I was uncomfortable the entire night after eating and felt bloated the next day. Not sure how fresh the ingredients were because the salt was masking all of the flavor. Never again.

never new that westwood had such a gem of a restaurant
in granita grille, excellent food with a great ambiance, friendly staff and reasonable priced with plenty of option on the menu. and best of all it a BYOB so it makes it easier to enjoy a great restaurant in this difficult economy

Incredibly salty food. Combine his with a thin-skinned chef who did not want to hear that the food was too salty...not just a bit salty - but INEDIBLE. I was not trying to insult the chef, i honestly thought there was some kind of mistake. On top of that, there was slow incompetent service, and no parking whatsoever. The decent looking, but generic interior is the only thing even average. This was - without question the saltiest food I've ever had, including notoriously salty fast food. A real downer.

After reading all these reviews about the best kept secret in bergen county, we decided to go. We had a 8:30 reservation on a Sat nt.
The place was packed, noisy and tables are close together. The music was bad. We waited an hour for a table and finally got seated.
The servers were nice. We had the seafood salad, big enough for 2 , it was really good and fresh so we already forgave the wait. The dipping sauce that came with the bread was too vinegary, nothing special at all. I would have preferred some olive oil or even butter but there wasn't any. The main dishes were awful. My hubs fish was dry, obviously frozen, and he didn't eat it after one bite. My chicken on arugula with marsala sauce was drab and the sauce was too heavy, they had a mush of arugula on it and slices of crummy tomatoes, the melted cheese was the best part.
My friend had the eggplant lasagna, which they failed to mention had no pasta just layers of deep fried eggplant stuffed with (UG) broccolli. The dishes came with brocolli and carrots out of the bag, with some salty potatoes.
I don't get how people like this place so much. We wouldn't go back. They were nice enough to take the fish off the check though.
So, I'll be nice enough to say we really liked the seafood salad.
Thats it.

Incredible food from start to finish- the dipping sauce should be bottled and sold...

Veal and chicken dishes are tender and flavorful, marinara is 2nd only to my mom's.

BYOB keeps it affordable and Sat. nights live music is a huge plus!

This place is the best kept secret in Bergen County.

The food was execellent, many different choices to choose from. The homemade dipping sauce was out of this world. The atomsphere is great inside with a great color scheme. I highly recommend this resturant to everyone. The chef/owner is very nice and greets everyone when entering and leaving.

This restaurant offers a great selection of dishes from pasta to seafood, the homemade foccacia and the delicious sauce for the bread are definitely winners. Worth to try it!

Overseasoned incredibly salty food, which is an attempt to cover up poor ingredients. Spaghetti-os are a more authentic italian dish that anything this place serves. I had a gift certificate, and thae only saving grace was that I did not pay for the food. there is no place to park, the service was slow, and the chef has no idea what he/she is doing. When I sent my food back, was told that the chef said it was fine the way it was. I was not offered an opportunity to substitute another dish, but in the long run that's okay because my date said the food was inedibly salty also. This place deserves to go under. ZERO STARS
