Pep Boys

Although I agree that some of the mechanics their need more training, the service manager John has gone out of his way for me, in this dept. Unfortuneately John has to rely on these mechanics.

Not only do you wait longer than at other Pep Boys, but the quality of customer service is lacking. They are rude and quote one price over the phone and when you come in the price is higher. The parts department is better for services but the service center is totally different.

I've shopped here many times when I need something that the local places don't carry. For the most part, I think they are about average for a chain store. No big deal. I much prefer Walmart prices when I can though.

PROS: Convenient
CONS: Priced like a specialty store and chain
