The service is very good here. On Friday and Saturday night the place gets so packed sometimes there is no where to sit, but it's a great place to hang out. The brunches that they have on the weekends are very good and a good price. I would recommend this place for their brunches.

The turkey burger was really awful. The worse I ever had! The steak came cut up. The beer was mediocre. I don't understand what happened. It use to be a decent place at one time. There are too many good & great places in Hoboken to try. Don't waste you money at Mile Square!

Pros: Wish there was something I could say.

Cons: quality of food, the beer selection, ambianc. it's just bad!

It's a shame, really, because the food isn't bad and the prices are great. But, the Mile Square has the worst service in town. Downright rude hostesses ignored me while I was flailing my arms and trying to get someone's attention when my server had gone missing for 20 minutes after clearing the table. It's the first restaurant I've ever been in where a gaggle of servers and hostesses actually sat down in the front window of the place and ignored the whole dining room on a busy Friday night. Terrible service - never again. There are too many other great places in town where I won't be ignored.

Great place for a drink, appetizers, or even a meal! They have a ton of different beers on tap and bottled from all around the world (that's the speciality of the place and the appeal). The prices are good too. The drinks prices are great and they have specials on some nights! There's always a sign outside with the specials of the day on it. I know that one of their international beers is about $5-6. They have booths and tables on one side for dining, and on the bar side there are some booths and a table or two (and the bar of course). It??s a great atmosphere for just having a drink and relaxing or having dinner!

Stay far, far, away if you're just wanting dinner. If you just want to drink, you should seriously reconsider, but there is a remote possibility you might not hate it.

The bar there, as another poster indicated, is mediocre, but not awful (well, at least not *totally bottom-of-the-barrel awful*). It's just really lame.

However, the food and service in the dining area takes the cake when it comes to truly get-me-the-hell-out-of-here horrible. Awful attitudes by the waitresses - that is, when you can get them to acknowledge you exist - only *then* are you awarded the rolling eyes ("stupid customer's bugging me about forgetting her appetizer") and the complete indifference to when food arrives and whether it was the correct item or not.

I suppose it's not all bad - if no other restaurant existed in Hoboken, one might consider this. Maybe.

Hoboken has so many other restaurants nearby, I wouldt pick this one over others. I went for a special occasion catered party. The staff were disorganized about the entire thing. The food was okay though, the dessert was very good. The mixed drinks are good as well. The decor was very rustic and unimpressive. For the price, I'd rather go to Johnny Rockets and get a better experience for my money

Meal took two hours for a hamburger (Which wasn't cooked right) and a salad. Once it got crowded the service got worst. Food was just average to begin with. The restauraunt might be ok if it is not crowded and they had more waitresses who were better trained. Meal was comped because service was bad. I left before dessert arrived because I lost my patience.

Pros: Nice sized tables...

Cons: Service, service, service.....

This is a nice place to go. There is a bit of action at the bar. Watch out for the long waits for a table. The food is just ok. Nothing particurlarly great about it. Nothing too terrible. The prices are a bit high for the average quality. Its a good place to go with a group of friends, as the place is lively and loud. I would stick to the pastas and the sandwiches. On a more positive note they have a great selection of drinks and beers. I recomend the Frambouis. (French sparkling wine drink.) Skip the deserts they're terrible!

There is only one thing to do in hoboken, actually two, and that is to smoke and get drunk, nothing more. At mile square, you can wash down the food with beer without having to spit it out, so the food does not interfere with the hobokinite's need to get drunk. For hoboken standards, that' pretty good.

Cons: Everything when you, are not stoned
