As a Pre-K teacher, I have been taking my classes there for 13 years. It is a very hands-on learning experience for the little ones. We always have such a wonderful time. It can get crowded during school hours as there are many schools that enjoy this great facility. Prices are more than reasonable.

My twins had such a great time at this wonderful facility!! The staff was friendly and helpful, so kid oriented. We stayed most of the day, and they cried when we had to leave they had so much fun. All the special activities were included, kids loved the puppet show and the fairy tale play. Craft was great too! It was fun and educational. I highly recommend it to the toddler and preschool l crowd! We are making this a regular outing! And definitely their next birthday party.

You can keep your little one occupied here for a long time. they have quite a few exhibits and also a little grocery store. The admission is very pricey and many of their stuff is old and needs replacement and the place could use some serious clean-up. Worth just a visit may be, and definitely not more..

This is a great museum for the kids but watch out there is admission for adults and no strollers allowed. They also do birthday parties. Lots of hands on activities. The museum is located near the Bergen Regional hospital. They are busy on weekends so try to go during the week.

The New Jersey Children's museum is the nicest children's museum I have ever been to. It is so big, and there is so much for the children to do - they never get bored, regardless of age or gender. It has the right balance between educational and fun things to do. For sheer variety, you just can't beat it. And bring your camera - there are lots of photo ops, with costumes in almost every room and exhibit. A great place to spend an afternoon.
