I've made sehia my shop for weaving doos i got Senegalese twists and it took 8hrs the people stopped a few times for the kids but its tough these days if all people African Americans should understand that so i didn't mind my hair was beautiful! Braids came out around my edges in like two weeks but that was from the scalp they didn't slip i didn't pay til they were done and i gave each girl a 40.00 tip they gave me total comfort while there but they were a oil hesitate i wouldn't pay they kept asking me :)

This shop was horrible! I brought my own hair and told them I wanted the braids for 150 so they charged me 130. The braides were not even micro braids. They braided big braid in the back of my head and the ones in the front of my head are slipping of already! I have only had my hair done for two weeks! Then, they started using two girls on other people hair while only one girl did mine so the people who arrived after me left before me SMH. When a second person did come over it was a huge african lady that leaned on me while braiding causing my arm to fall asleep. She began eating all over my head as well (just nasty). I had to tell her a couple of times not to eat over my head and then she would start talking Afircan loudly to the other braiders. The shop was dirty and there were several children running around the shop causing causing the braider to stop my hair to settle them down. It's a shame because I feel African hair braiders would do so much better if they clean their shops, eliminate the confusion of children running around, not eat all over their customers, and if they have english speaking customers, they should speak english not to insult their customers. My cousin recommended Sehia's to me, but I would not recommend this shop to anyone because I am very unhappy about my hair.
I know many hair braiders come on here and bash the shops to gain customers but I am a true customer that was referred by my cousin and I will never ever go here again.

I really love Sehia's! She is great. I usually go there when I want an updo like twisties going back into a bun or something. Sehia is the most sweetest lady and she is very friendly. Reasonably priced and she works fast to get you in and out.
